When i made my booking, i was not sure if i made the right decision and since i have never been to Greece, I was in two minds. This hotel is 2 minute walk from the main bus terminal (to the beaches ) and 7-10 minute walk to little Venice and the shops. The island is small and this hotel is Conveniently located and within walking distance of most places. Bill was the gentlemen at reception and probably the friendliest guy on the Island. Great knowledge of the island, restaurants and best you speak to him when thinking of renting a bike or four wheeler (quad-bike). He will arrange delivery of the bike to the hotel as well as the pickup. Remember to bring your drivers license ( no international License required ) The rooms are basic but neat and have all the necessary amenities. This is Mykonos after all and you just need a place to sleep. If you are spending more time in your room than on the beach... you better be on honeymoon. The hotel has a fantastic breakfast, great bar, free internet and you will find a smiling face every day. Thanks to the staff of Adonis especially Bill, Roz & Mihali. You guys became my friends and i will see you on my next trip to Greece.

Stayed at the Adonis Sept 3 - 5. great location very close to downtown - less than a five minute walk to the pedestrian streets.
Free Shuttle service to and from port to airport.
Staff very helpful
Rooms very clean and nice. Had a room with a great view.
Breakfast is somewhat limited, but the quality of the food and setting of the breakfast room are excellent.
Highly reccomend this hotel.
Had a problem with a travel agent near bus stop - Lakouris. Would reccommend using another agent of which there are many.
Rented a car for one day to see the beautiful beaches at our own pace. Elia probably the best.

I was concerned by the uniformity of the reviews that I read on TripAdvisor and whether they were authentic. No matter now. I was extremely happy with the decision to stay at the Adonis and can strongly recommend the place. It's a bargain and very well located. As others had noted, the owners and staff are fantastic - and solved two stressful problems that developed for me with speed and finesse. If something were to go wrong on your trip, Roz and Vassilus (sp?) are two folks that you'd want in your corner.

The price point had me concerned about quality ahead of time, but the place is just an excellent value. Rooms are clean, well appointed, bright. Because I want to return to the island, I actually visited a few other hotels to see alternatives. Rooms are pretty basic wherever you are, it would appear. The few high-design properties and swank pool scenes are significantly more expensive. I was pleased with the tradeoffs associated with the Adonis and would stay there again.

I'll mention again that the service and rapport with the staff are a key selling point. They were quickly responsive to each request and need. Offered good advice. And so very likeable. I feel like I have friends there that I want to get back and see. Thank you Roz, Mihalis, and Vassilus.
