ARRIVED TO FIND OUT 3 PEOPLE STABBED AT OUR HOTEL!!! then a fight in the bar as soon as arrived! photos of the new kitchen and the list of things in the room including tv,kettle,sofa,cutlery etc was not there ! NOT a single thing! we had to RENT the tv which only came after 3 days of chasing up!!!!in the end the night security guard brought it himself. there was nothing ,its as if the room was not even ready for anyone to use at all. the balcony doors were broken.the bathroom window was broken and was open all week!! we had to pay for a key to let us back in the hotel which the people on reception gave us the wrong key 5 times which when we came back late at night and the key wasnt right we then had to walk up a huge hill and a lot of steps to get back which was soooo frustrating!! there was a constant smell of cooking fat and weed as most of the residents grew weed and smoked it. A WASTE OF MY MONEY,NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We arrived on New years eve after having a very early morning flight, we were traveling with another couple and we expecting to be shown to our rooms so we could have a rest before our new years celebrations began. upon arrival we were instructed to wait in the waiting area, after waiting a good hour the manager apeared to inform us that there was "no water" to our 2 rooms so we would have to be moved to another complex until the 4th then move back to Malibu. he then instructed us to wait in the bar for a few minutes, the few minutes turned into a few hours and when he finally came back (after us keep asking) he told us our new appartment (where all 5 of us would be in one appartment) wouldnt be ready for another few hours becasue they were cleaning it. luckily for us we had family staying in another hotel not to far away so we could do rest for a while there, for other unlucky passangers this was not the case. When we arrived at our family they informed us that there was infact water to all the complex as a family friend had been up the previous day to try and book a room and he was told they had over booked by 18 rooms!!!!!!!!!!!!! When we was eventually allowed into out new complex we asked him about this as my brother was flying out on the 3rd as was some more family who were due to stay at malibu, he just said they were to stay with us ( as if we could fit more people into our already overcrowded room!!!) The first day was just a nightmare, we finally got into our room about 7 after arriving in Tenerife at 11!!!!! And then after arguing on the 3rd to get my brother and other family members another room and then having to move back to malibu on the 4th just spoilt the holiday!!! Not even ONE member of staff appologised for anything!!!!!!! Try and avoid in peak times u may not have a room!!!!!!

Just back from Malibu Park and would not recommend it! Entrance and reception area were fine clean and tidy. Got to our room where at first seemed okay except 3 of our 5 light in our room did not work. Very basic but expected that as did not pay a fortune to go there. If there was a cleaner in our room they certainly did not do much. The floor was not cleaned the whole time we were there! You had to wash your feet before you went out as they got dirty walking around the room. This then would make the sheets dirty which were not changed the whole week and had lovely dirty marks on them! The towels were changed once on our second last day when they took our bath towels and changed them to hand towels! There was rubbish under our bed which was not ours! Work top in kitchen area was not fixed down which we found out when i leaned on it and it nearly fell off on top of me! Staff were not interested! Would not recommend it! So if you are still going to go you will need to take your mop and bucket!

This will be our second visit this year because the complex has everything we want. On arrival we asked for a specific room no. and was told if we could wait ten minuets it would be sorted. Excellent service from the receptionist a lady called Sandra.We waited at the bar and Sandra even brought the key out to us.Service worth its weight in gold.

The one bedroom apartments are clean and spacious with all utensils. Ask for room nos 3017/3031 they have excellent balcony views overlooking the sea and mountains.Ask for key to the back entrance as this is a short cut to the bars and restaurants. Ten minuet walk to the main shopping area but advise a taxi back (E3.00) steep hill on return journey.

Small supermarket on site near reception for basic essentials.There is a pool bar good choice of meals during the day.Out of season perfect holiday if looking for a peaceful quiet time. Recommend mid March or mid December.
