If you can imagine a square and the sides are the hotel with the pool and the sun beds in the middle... The height of the hotel stops the rays of the sun quite early, which in fairness is a bit disappointing...

The pool and sunbeds are side by side and randomers want to sunbath next to you with very minimal distance apart...

I went bed breakfast - the food was okay - nothing to boast about.

Glad I didn't book all inclusive or full/half board.

The rooms were very clean and location wise in a good area.

Turn right outside the hotel will lead you to the beach 'down hill'

The walk back will be quite hard for people with walking difficulties or health related problems.

I went with a group of friends - but I would not take my family x 3 children there - There are better hotels in Costa Adeje for families.

I have been to Costa Adeje now 8 times but would not go back to this hotel, simply because of the sun rays being shadowed by the hotel heights and the crampness of the sunbeds.

For a similar price you could go to the Costa Adeje Grand 5 star - which is about 400 to the left outside the hotel.... Air Con

For a very basic holiday - no thrills hotel - Castalia Park (be warned you get what you pay for).... A very basic yet very clean hotel - don't go all inclusive unless you basically get it for free in your booking.... No Air Con which is approx 150 meters in front of the hotel...

I plan to go back this year to Costa Adeje and quite fancy the hotel Iberostar Torviscas Playa, food for thought ?

My husband and i have just returned from Fanabe after a 2 week stay we could nt have asked for more, what a lovely hotel everyone is so pleased to help you. Every where is so clean double rooms so big. Entertainment on every night if you dont want to go out . We couldnt of ask for more, we shall be back.

Just got back from Fanabe Costa Sur Hotel, my husband and I stayed for 7 days. 3rd floor, room facing pool and we stayed all inclusive.
We had a lovely time at the hotel it was clean, friendly and the food was good!
My only thought and for me a downfall was that there was lots of Germans and also it seemed like we were in an over 50's resort!!!
We are a young married couple and with no kids, we had hoped that there would of been more young couples...

Returned on 24th January following a 2 weeks stay at this lovely hotel. When we first arrived, looking at it from the outside, it looks a bit dull but once you get inside, it is lovely. You could not ask for more pleasant staff who cannot do enough for you. Time from checking in at reception to when we got to our room took approximately 10 minutes. We had a huge room over looking the pool on the shaded side but that was not a problem for us as we went out walking or touring for much of the day. There is a sunny side and a shaded side overlooking the pool. There is no kettle in the room but we were advised of this before we went by a lady who had visited before, so we took our own kettle, cups, tea, sugar and a spoon and of course an adaptor for the electric point. We used the shaver point in the bathroom and when we had finished, we put all the evidence away just in case we were breaking rules. We had an absolutely massive bed in the room which consisted of a double and a single put together. The bed was pretty comfortable. There is a supermarket right across the road from the hotel and first port of call was to get the milk and the water. We had a lovely english cuppa every day!! You can have room service but we like our home made english tea. The room was spotlessly clean. In the restaurant, there was a great selection of food and my only gripe was it was not warm enough at times. The plates were nearly always cold and that didn't help. There were the usual breakfast foods, and eggs are cooked to your liking. In the evening, you can have your meat or fish cooked in front of you to your liking. The rest is buffet style. The hotel is on a hill but you soon get used to the walking. It's about a 5-10 minute walk to the sea front. Take good walking sandals or shoes as your feet get so hot from the concrete pavements. The weather is just right. Lovely and warm and I certainly miss that part of it now I am back in freezing England. There is a market which is held twice a week just behind the hotel. Bus/taxi service is very close by. Buses run frequently. We loved it here and would definitely return. We have been to Tenerife several times but never stayed in Costa Adeji and definitely would recommend. It is a very clean area.
