The hotel has an interesting interior design. The room are comfortable, although some details could be improved, e.g. shower cabin doesn't have a door and is made in a walk-in design (without any barrier to step in what I really like), however it would be useful if there is any small barrier like a rubber strip not to allow water to spread over the entire floor of the bathroom, which was the case in our room at least. Some functional elements of the furniture to put things into would also be very useful. It was surprising that they didn't change the towels. It was pretty quiet during our stay in the hotel.
The staff was friendly and welcoming. Wellness part of the hotel was of interesting design and free of charge. Food was very good. At the arrival we were offered one ticket/person for a glass of wine for free. It was nice. When we asked about local vines, we received a lot of information about vineyards around and types of wine they produce. We could taste different wines in vineyards on the way from the Badacsony mountain to the hotel (don't do it in the opposite direction - you will never get to the top of the mountain otherwise;) My favorite vine was Badacsony Muscotaly (white), but I also like Szurkebarat Pinot Gris (white) and Zweigelt (red, rather not from this region). We could also taste a couple of wines in the hotel and finally buy a couple of bottles in addition to those bought directly at the vineyards. It was very nice to spend a couple of evenings in local bars (downtown, not far from the hotel) and enjoy local wines and hungarians singing. The Balaton lake is very close to the hotel and for a small entry fee we could enjoy the warm, but rather muddy water of the lake.
It was a very relaxing time. I would highly recommend this place for those who want to escape from noisy places (I should add that we were there in early September). The only minus - it is difficult to get there without a car, but it was like an adventure (we were travelling by trains from Wien)

Came for a weekend to relax but failed to do so. The location of the building is very close to the center of Badacsony so its near all loud events attracting the visitors. I was told during the summer a fairground was disturbing the quiet stay, now we had to hear bad quality techno music till late night.

The design might attract those who prefer minimalist industrial design.

Food is mediocre very little choice for breakfast and dinner as well.

The best part of the spa is the massage therapist lady, she has great hands.

I would only suggest this place for people on a late fall or winter weekend with an enthusiam for wine OR those who love to be close loud summer holiday events.

One of the few hotels which avoids boring rooms and communal area. The wellness is black(! -but looks great) and not that usual green or blue. It is close to the beach and to the wine cellars as well.

Our child enjoyed the playroom and while he was there we were (finally!) able to enjoy our breakfast. The food is good although more choice would be welcome! They offer quite a lot of programs (walks, bike rentals etc). Our room had a strong design I'm not sure everybody will love it, but we did.
