Hotel is located approx 20 min from the airport. This Iberostar resort complex exists of three different hotels the Grand, Suites and Beaches all located on a private beach. There is a small duty free shopping area near by and a free shuttle leaves the hotel every hour.
Upon arriving at this hotel we were greeted with a very warm reception and that didn't stop the whole time we were there. The staff were always friendly and willing to help you out if needed.
Our room was very clean, bed was comfortable and we had a great view of the beach. There were a lot of weddings happening in front of our room with music going, but it never lasted after 11 so it did not disturb anyone wanting to go to bed early.
Really liked having a fridge in the room with water and pop stocked in it. The fridge was restocked every other day. The only complaint I would have with this is the stuff in the fridge was never cold, but reading someone elses review they say we should have opened the door to the cabinet it was in.
The hair dryer supplied in the room was horrible (looks like a vacuum tube) so if you need a hair dryer you may wish to bring a small travel one.
We only ended up eating in the buffet restaurant which was very good with lots of selection. Sometimes I found the food a little cold, but in all it was very good.
Pool and beach area were kept very clean. Lots of seating on the beach with a lot of trees that give a good amount of shady and sunny areas.
In all we had a great trip to Jamaica and would definitely stay at this hotel again.
