I stayed at Ritz Carlton over Chistmas / New Year 2012. The Hotel is very well run and the staff are exceptional. I have stayed in Hotels in Tobago, Grenada, St Lucia and The Bahamas in the last 5 years and this Hotel was the best. The rooms were large and had everything one would need, from mini bar to a safe to free internet access (essential for me as I had to keep in contact with my office in London). The pool area is large, plenty of sun loungers and excellent pool side service operated from Mangos Restaurant by the pool. The Hotel has a tour desk which was manned by Yaneke and Kareeen from Jamaica Tours. They were very knowledgeable and were able to arrange several excellent tours for me. Horizons Restaurant was outstanding. I have read some of the reviews posted by other guests and can only say that in the two weeks I was there, and the Hotel was certainly full during the first week, I never experience cold food. The breakfast buffet was extensive, from hot foods to cereals, fruits, cold meats, everything was there. The restaurant also benefits from a brilliant Chef, I had some of the best meals I have ever had. Jamaica is a beautful Island, much more than I realised, very green with so much to see. I would recommend the Island to everyone but if you want to make the most of it, stay at The Ritz Carlton to get the full benefit.

As a member of the lodging industry, we know our hotels, and certainly consider this property to be one of our favorites. Our families have stayed here many times over the last 10 years. Overall, we admired the exemplary customer service of this Ritz Carlton. In specific, Dezreen Reid-Stewart, a manager in Customer Service, went out of her way to make my family feel welcomed with each and every stay.
The golf course, the White Witch, remains one of the most beautiful and challenging layout of the Caribbean, and is highly recommended. Food was very good, and drinks poolside was superb. Although the pool was classically styled (no meandering river or in pool bar at the time of our last visit), it was indeed very clean, and a good place to relax. Over all the property just felt classy, and, as others have commented, was the perfect place for a quiet, relaxing, 5 star service vacation. Highly recommended.

we spent two nights here and then moved to the all inclusive hilton resort. After spending 4 days at hilton we moved back to Ritz to enjoy the serenity and the leisurley life, without bothering about breakfast/lunch& dinner timings.

It has a small but clean and quite beach.The beach non-motorised sports were great and easily accesible.The staff was friendly and co-operative.The jerk chicken centre by the beachside was great.

Would love to go back again

Our flight from MoBay to Charlotte was cancelled and the US Air put us up in this resort. We were given dinner, breakfast, and non-alcoholic drinks while there. We did not eat dinner because we had already eaten at the airport, but many that were on our flight did eat and they said the food was excellent (lobster was exceptional they said). We at breakfast before taking off in the morning and it was very good. From what we could see in our short time there, the resort was beautiful. Beds were very comfortable and bathrooms were outstanding. We were very happy that US Air put us up in such a well-known brand of hotel. The staff was excellent.
