“Fantastic Apartments!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2012

We booked our holiday after reading the fantastic reviews on the apartments and stayed at Spriti Priffit in August 2011. The place certainly lived up to the reviews and more the apartments, pool area gardens and restaurant are immaculate the staff are so helpful and friendly nothing is too much trouble. The apartments are situated within walking distance to lots of bars etc. If you go do check out the boat trip with Spiros for a great day out. We have two teenagers and they made lots of friends. We all loved our stay there and would like to thank Eleni, Glynnis and Babis for helping to make our holiday so special. We will be back !!!!

“fantastic self catering hotel”

this hotel so very good for families and couples, it has a large swimming pool and a lovely poolside bar which is shaded from the hot sun, it has a lovely garden to sit in/sunbathe, the apartments are spacious and bright, and cleaned every day, the balconys are large and spacious with tables and chairs, the kitchens have everything you need the apartments have air con which you pay to the hotel if you use them, we have been to this hotel a few times and love it nothing is too much trouble and the staff are great, i would recomend this hotel to everyone, there are no life guard so children have to be supervised at all times, i give this hotel 5out of 5 its also on the main bus route to go all over the island,

Room Tip: studios are small but other than that all apartments are a good size, most having 2 bedrooms

“Excellent place to stay before/after sailing from Gouvia Marina”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 January 2012

We stayed here before and after chartering a boat from nearby Gouvia Marina. I emailed to ask about the distance from the marina (an easy 10min walk) and the possibility of a late check-in (our flight arrived 10pm). Eleni replied with very helpful information - indeed she was enthusiastic and welcoming throughout. She arranged a keenly priced taxi to pick us up at the airport (20mins). The next morning when we had gathered at the tables by the pool, Eleni came by to make sure everything was OK. Breakfast was al fresco and prepared by friendly (UK) staff - straightforward food, well cooked, served with care and a kind smile. The hotel team at Spiti Prifti always seemed relaxed but did everything to make sure our stay went well. The rooms are modest, comfortable and clean - this is all we wanted on this trip since proximity to the Marina was a priority. Showers were good and there are some simple self-catering facilities should you need them (we found the fridge useful). The gardens are pretty with abundant flora and the small but clean pool provides a welcome refreshing dip at the end of the day. The hotel is just off a main road so there is a little traffic noise but the gardens are quite dense - I probably wouldn't come here as a solo traveller in search of total tranquility but we were with a small group and preparing for a sail trip so it was easy to tune any background noise out. When we searched for hotels in the local area there seemed to be quite a polarity - either really expensive or modest 3 star. We all agreed that when you can be in such a friendly, welcoming and accommodating place - why spend oodles of money elsewhere? A terrific little place to stay!

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the gardens rather than the road if you think traffic noise might bother you

“An excellent all-rounder at amazing value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 October 2011

We couldn't really fault this place and would certainly go back. It was exceedingly good value for the time of year with helpful, friendly staff.

A cab from the airport was €20 so dead easy to get to and the buses run just outside on the main road into Corfu town every 20 minutes for just €2. It's definitely worth gong into Corfu Town, particularly on an evening where the place comes alive after about 9pm.

Yes, it's on a main road and you can hear road noise by the pool but this didn't bother us as the gardens were beautifully maintained and very relaxing. It's just a 5min walk into Gouvia and there are 2 minimarkets within a minute's walk!

It was fully booked when we were there but never felt like it. Always plenty of room by the pool and tons of sun loungers to choose from. Free wifi was fab! Glynis on the bar was very friendly and hardworking and we loved Eleni the owner.

The room was a little dated but spotlessly clean and with free air-con, which was a must in August. The little balcony was lovely and came complete with citronella to keep the bugs away.

We ate in the restaurant which was very good food and we also had bar snacks - they were good but we were slightly disappointed at the choices which were very British!!

On our check-out day we had access to a courtesy room where we could store luggage and have a shower - all at no extra charge. It's these small, considerate touches that really made you feel like a valued guest. We would certainly return!!
