We only had a 2 night break in this area to visit Beaux de Provence and other attractions. We wanted a nice clean, comfortable hotel and that is what we certainly got. It is only at most two years old but has been built to reflect the character of the area. The rooms where spotless, well furnished and comfortable. The only problem was that the shower did not have a door and it was impossible to avoid soaking the floor. However, this must have been expected. The breakfast was delightful with a complete range of fruits, cheese,ham, breads etc and served in a lovely dining area. Our weather was not good enough to be able to enjoy the outside dining and pool area. Unfortunate that they do not provide for evening dining. if they did i'm sure it would be lovely.
Evening dining in this area was a problem. Even neighbouring villages failed to provide any satisfactory options. The hotel provided a list of "eateries" in the neighbourhood but most closed on Sunday evening and Monday! We finally settled for the Relais in Mouries. At first sight I thought it was closed or unoccupied until we saw a small group dining in a corner. They turned out to be the owners/staff! Despite appearances, we enjoyed a lovely meal, beautifully cooked and presented with super service. We came back a second night!
Beaux de Provence was historically interesting to see but, as with the rest of the villages around, was a disapointment from what we had expected. Having travelled over from tthe Cote d'Azure and villages such as Grimaud and St Paul de Vence it just did not impress. Noticable in Beaux was the absence of flowers and evidence of any resiidents.
Since we were within driving distance, we took the opportunity to visit the Pont Du Gard. Very impressive!
A very enjoyable visit and would certainly recommend the Hotel Terriciace.

This hotel totally matched our expectations. The information and pictures provided upfront are very realistic. This hotel was ideal to combine both cultural trips and relaxing days at the pool. The room gave more space than we had expected, was cleaned up perfectly everyday and even had a little fridge. The latter is very useful as the Provence offers a lot of delicious products to try. In terms of location, this hotel is ideal to explore the Provence as a whole. But it is also nearby great little towns and villages where you can eat something or have a drink. The people are very welcoming and give you all the information and service you need.
Totally recommended!

This hotel is well placed to explore both Mouries and its roman ruins, as well as the surrounding area, including Baux de provence, which is a hill top town.

The hotel appears very new ... no more than a few year's old and although feeling a bit spartan - lot of tiles on floors etc. - offers a very good standard of accomodation. Rooms are arranged around three sides of a courtyard, in which is also situated an enclosed swimming pool.

As a family-run business, staff are very accomodating and friendly, and will offer advice - even found and gave us an english guide to the area on their own volition - we hadn't requested one.

The downside is that the hotel does not have a restaurant, although there are plenty of places to eat in the neighbourhood. Breakfast is a buffet and caters to a number of tastes and is on the whole good.

In all, a place well worth remembering for a short stay or a stopover.

This is a small family run hotel on the outskirts of the lovely Provence town of Mouriès. The area, overlooking the Alpilles, is an area of olive groves, bike riding, good restaurants and a few golf courses. It is near the town of Arles, the TGV station at Avignon and the Marseilles airport. The hotel is small but brand new. Rooms are clean and bright and modern. There is internet and a small coffee bar in the lobby. Breakfast is included and can be enjoyed pool side or in airconditioned comfort. If you are looking for a reasonably priced modern base to explore Provence this is it. Want to experiment a bit? Try a few days here and a few days at the nearby Hotel Servanes. Servanes is a few hundred years older than Terriciae and has an interesting restaurant and its own golf course.
