We had a double room with a balcony having views over the beach area and out to sea. The bathroom was adequately equipped despite looking a bit tired. In fact the whole room seemed in need of a face lift which was more than just the end of season wear and tear. All things considered – a bit pricey but we were comfortable enough and slept well. Can’t fault the staff who were welcoming and very helpful. Free wifi.
We did not have breakfast but the room looked very cheerful and pleasant. We had dinner in their adjoining restaurant which was most enjoyable. Both menu and wine prices were reasonable. We would certainly eat there again.
Sète itself is very interesting and we found the people cheerful and friendly – yes even waiters! We took the bus into town and back – 2euros each return. Highly recommend the combined canals and harbour boat trip.
