Annamalai International is a really spectacular hotel. The room was ultra spacious and very good. The food was excellent and the breakfast was sumptious. Staffs were cordial. The room service as well as restaurant service was prompt. Air-conditioning was good in all the rooms and well ventilated.

The bathrooms were spotless with bottles of shampoo, conditioner, bubble bath, body lotion and even mouthwash lined up. The rooftop swimmingpool and aquarium are beautiful.
The food was excellent in the multi-cuisine restaurant and the breakfast was equally sumptious.
We got caught up in Cyclone Thane which devstated Pondicherry,causing havoc in and around the hotel.The hotel and the calm and cool staff withstood the storm bravely, causing minimal inconvenience to guests.
The generator managed the power cut and the staff were very helpful in keeping us abreast with latest news. No pressure was put on guests to leave, way after the chech-out time.
All in all an experience that was unforgettable.

This hotel was upto mark to my expectations.
Start: the pool is not in good shape. No prpr illumination. No temperature control and an illeterate person manning it.

no good coordination between house keeping and reception e.g. We did not for an extra bed eventually and managed, however this was not communicated to the reception and got reflected onto the final bill.

Stop: Having general laymen at the pool as attendants.

Continue: food is the strong point. Breakfast was good and the service is very courteous.

I have revisited this property after a gap of one year and found that the level of service is improved than last year. One must have food at their vegetarian restaurant Haveli and try south indian thali to have genuine taste of south Indian taste.
