“Vacation”

Just think, you,re sitting outside with your husband and a glass of cava. The sun is shining and it is pleasantly warm. You can totally relax. No shouting, no disco music, no annoying sellers. A friendly staff. The hotel is clean and quiet. Decent food. Nice beach. This was our third time here and we will go back. This is an excellently run hotel.

“Relaxing time.... Costa Calma”

We booked a week at the Sunrise Palace and it was absolutely great. Our room was at the top floor as we requested and the view was really amazing. There was not much to visit in costa calma but we decided to have only a relaxing holiday. Everything was perfect the pool, the beach and the food not very expansive. We will think to come back again in the future

“Excellent holiday”

We had a really lovely holiday at the Costa Calma Palace hotel. The hotel is lovely and spacious; and the view from the hotel is fantastic.
The meals at breakfast and dinner were of an excellent quality and variety. The staff are very friendly but there are not many english speaking staff. There are more German speaking staff in reception than English ones.
But there is only one native English speaking receptionist, who helped us from the very first day till the last.
Special thanks to Tracey for all her assistance and friendliness.
We would recommend this hotel without a doubt.

“Lovely Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 September 2011

We stayed at this hotel at the end of August and really recommend it. It is a very comfortable, quiet hotel and the food of a very high standard, with so much variety. The hotel is spotless and staff very friendly. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday with a quiet pool, then you will not be disappointed. The beach is lovely here too and the hotel is right on the beach.

The bus stop is not far from the hotel and travelling to Jandia/Morro Jable takes about 40mins, with frequent buses which are very cheap. You can take a bus to Playa Barca (No.5) and that takes about 10mins.

A special thank you to Angelo for all his help whilst we were there, we very much enjoyed our stay.

Room Tip: The rooms on floor 4 do not have any view.

“My dreams came true.......an abslolutely fantastic week”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 April 2011

We (my partner and I) traveled April 11-18, 2011.

The hotel is absolutely top. We staied on 7th flor (had wished for high flor when booking) with the most fantastic view of the ocean, (wiht surfers from the surf school to watch), the beach, half of the pool area (without noise). The sun was on the balcony until about 2 o'clock. The room was nice in good colors for relaxing. About 2/3 of the hotel was occupied, so it was not crouded.

The restaurant and food is a chaper on its own. So much different food to choice between every day. First setting at 18 ocloc, and seckond setting at 20 oclock. We ejnoied being on the second setting. In the resturant you can order a bottel of wine and drink some of it, next evening when you arrive your bottel are placed on your table againg, nice. Everyone change (or dress up) for dinner.

You don't need more than the two meals the hotel provides you a day. If you need to buy water or other thinges, the SPAR shop just 300 meters from the hotel has it all.

You can be very private at the hotel, but also meet new people. We socialised wiht a couple from Norway after dinner a couple of evenings. Had a drink and sat outside and talked. Very nice. The majority is from Germany and the staff speaks German. We spoke english and had no problem being undestood.

It was very very windy the first two days, however the temperature was 24 celcius, so it did not feel cold, and you could wear shorts.

There are many facilities at the hotel, we only used a few of them like the spa and wellness as well as the work out facilities.

We rented a car from Hertz (category B = with aircondition), it was ready for us in the airport at arrival. We took some tours to explore the island, The nice wide beaches from Costa Calma and south with windsurfing, keitesurfing and the volcanic landshape to explore. The 'west coast' with the hightest volcano mountains and very nice view. The Northe east coast withe the sand from Sahara and the volcanos in the back ground, fantastic. The beautiful blue/grean water in the Atlantic Ocean was also nice to swim in several places on the east coast. Some places are the sand black (dark) and other places light (white/yellow).
Some nice long walks along the beach is also very nice. Some of the Germans we spoke to the last evening have been there before and were going to walk across to the west coast only aobut 4-5 km (each way).

One week did not leave us with time enough to try it all, but our intention was also to relax and get away from the very busy and stressfull everyday life back home. All we had dreamt of came true, and it is absolutely a place (hotel) we would like to go back to.

Only two negative tings was in the airport at Fuerteventura, the straff worked SO slow and ineffectie, and then we had to pay 10 Eurp per kg overweight. So an advice is leave your laptop back home, with your heavy books and travel light regarding clothes.

If you chose to go to this specific distination and hotel, we wish you a fantastic stay and hope your dreams also will come true.
