Hotel is one of two connected and on 1st looks was very positive, only after the 'high' of being on holiday did we open our eyes a bit more. Room was massive and really ideal doe a family of 4 so for the 2 of us it was great, however the cleaning was sparce at best on only done twice in a week, None of the furniture was moved so there was dust behind the sofa etc. The kitchen was very big but only had 2 rings and a microwave, could have done with more cooking facilities being a self catering hols. After the 1st day at the pool we opted for the beach every day as the pool looked as if it hadn't been cleaned for a while as there was a thick film of suntan lotion on the water surface which put us off.
On site supermarket was very small with small selection, easier to go down the hill to the hippo supermarket which had everything and cheaper. Hotel is located at the top of costa teguise so if a bit of a walk and not very good for the old or infirm, especially in the canaries heat!.
Costa Teguise itself is wonderful and when I win the lottery (positive thinking always helps!) then after buying an aston martin I'll be buying a villa there and spending the winter months there, I can praise it enough. The lifestyle is tranquil with wonderful restaurants (the steak house in the square is amazing and always packed) and for a drink go to Mandy's snug bar in the centre 2 euros a pint before 9pm and live music every night. When I go away I rarely return to the same restaurant and bar but on this occasion the pull was to strong.
Would I return to Costa Tesuise again? most definately, would I return to the Las Collinas? prob not, so many other hotels around and closer to the beach - try the Nazareth
