First time we stayed at Diamond sands we had a 2 bedroom double storey townhouse to ourselves which was excellent. Second time round and we get a dilapidated unit that was dirty and very old. Bathroom was filthy and bed must've had bed bugs cause we couldnt stop itching!!. Not to mention the ants...Kitchen was old and run down and the couches were disgusting and dirty. Will choose to stay elsewhere next time. We are also non smokers and there were smokers downstairs so we couldnt sit on the balcony cause the smoke travelled upstairs and into the unit. Bad value for $3,500 for 14 ddays.

We had a really good stay at Diamond Sands. Was good value for money. Great location, and car park was spacious for our rental vehicle. Easy access etc. Pool is excellent. We used the BBQ facilities for a couple of nights. Apartment was spacious. Staff were very helpful. Had a poolside ground floor apartment, and didn't find it noisy. Most people are theme parking during the day, and ready to catchup on rest and sleep at night. As we did.
Agree with previous post re the glass top tables, but kept them clear of our 3 year old.

Fantastic pool area with BBQ facilities. We had a 2 bdr apartment. Nicely convenient to shops and bus stop with short walk to golden beach. We checked in after hours and was a total breeze. Staff were really helpful with amusement part tickets etc. We had a great stay and could see lots of other happy families with our son easily making lots of new friends!

Gem on Mermaids beach, close convenience to Shops, restaurants, beach, city and few short KM to famous Theme Parks, Security gates at entrance, access only by auto key swipe, than hidden sandy swimming pool, great room and master bedroom, friendly manager, a invitation of always going back to same location.
