We booked an appartment for the Australia day weekend. We where upgraded on arival to a larger room, was perfect for two people. Had great views, very close to the beach and Tedder ave. Will def look at staying again.

I booked an apartment with The Maldives Resort for two nights, the night before my wedding and my wedding night. From the moment i stepped in my room i felt confident that i had chosen an amazing destination for my stay. The room was immaculate and spacious. It was very clean and made my stay that extra bit comfortable. I even had some of my wedding photos taken in the apartment and on the balacony and they were just truley amazing. We had an amazing Ocean View and were completely happy with our stay. This is a must stay place for all travellers in the Main Beach area. Thanks Maldives :)

I read all the other complimentary reviews before booking....and was pleasantly surprised to find the Maldives Resort even better than it had been described. Perfect sized apartment for two people. Amazing 250 degree views from the balcony. A short walk to both beach and Tedder Ave.

This is a lovely place within a short 2 minute stroll to Tedder Ave, for "Hard Coffee" or one of the fabulous restaurants along the avenue. Another short 2 minute stroll in the opposite direction you hit the beautiful beach.
I stayed with 2 others and would have preferred 2 bedrooms. The rooms are all 1 bedroom at the Maldives and as such perfect for 2, with spectacular panoramic views, day and night.
Duncan, manager, was fabulous, hunting me down a boogie board one day and finding my room key when I threw it down the rubbish chute the next.
So for a couple who want a wonderful experience and unforgettable views you can't go wrong.
Oh! and be sure to book ocean superior room. We were on 13th floor.
