We just arrived back last night and all-in-all feel we have had a relaxing and peaceful break. We booked a 7 night all-inclusive and paid what we knew would be a 3-4* price so never expected it to be the 5* it was advertised to be. The transfer to hotel was quick and easy. The entrance to the hotel has no slope for baggage so we had to lug our bags down several steps. Check-in is quick and easy, there were no Porters and we had to find our own way to the room. The room was spacious, clean and well-kept, we also had a side sea-view and the sun was on our balcony all day (which was great), the balcony would have been a concern if we had children as it did not appear to be that safe. The food is served 'buffet' style with a fair (but not great) selection at all times, the only complaint being that the food was sometimes a little cold. The staff are all very freindly and helpful. Being a couple the hotel was adequate for our needs, although a little quiet so we went out for a couple of meals in the evenings to the nearby town to find some life. Some of the families staying said that there was little for the children to do. We would definately go back again as this was our first trip to Fueterventura and we feel we have had a lovely holiday, in a peaceful hotel, with freindly helpful staff, freindly helpful locals and good weather. One word of warning - do not bother with the local Golf Club - Fueterventura, we played one afternoon and the price for hiring clubs, bags, trolleys and the purchase of golf balls and tees for the two of us came to around 200 euros (on a reduced twilight rate!), this would have been acceptable for a good course, however the course is not kept in a good condition, the greens are slow and dry and we feel overall it is certainly not worth the money.
