I haven't been so impressed with a restaurant in a very long time... in saying that, I think that this is one of the very best meals that I have ever had the pleasure to experience and that includes the meals I enjoyed when I was lucky enough to be in France!
The service was standout - the perfect balance between attentive and absent so that we had space to enjoy each other's company and also the time because there was a lovely lingering gap between courses... just the way it should be. We never felt rushed and enjoyed a whole evening of food rather than a hurried meal.
Every course was exquisite - presented so beautifully, like it came straight off the pages of a glossy magazine.
We had the 3 course deal which came with a glass of wine... french champagne no less! The price was well and truly below what the meal was worth but will guarantee that we'll be back... with other people.
