Second stay at the Talisman and again a real gem and value for money;

Pros:
1. Value for money
2. Large apartments albeit some are dated internally / not refurbished
3. Absolute beachfront in the heart of Broadbeach
4. On site heated pool and spa + mod grass tennis court

Cons:
1. Dated building but some apartments are nicely refurbished
2. Sanitised smell in hallways (only sometimes)
3. No wi-fi
4. No hotel service (if you're looking for this)

Not recommended for romantic getaways or families with teenagers!

Broadbeach is a nice location and less built up than Surfers. The Talisman is set just off the beach with uninterrupted views of the ocean.( You're not looking around buildings to get a glimpse of the sea).
If you want the sun on your room ask for north facing. The apartments are clean but the one we stayed in was in need of an update as everything looking old and tired. The staff were very nice and helpful and quickly solved the problems we had with the room.
The pool was heated which was really nice as we visited in winter. The park area was very pleasant and would recommend a visit to the surf club which is only 200 yards across the park as their breakfast is superb value for money.

My partner and I stayed here for three nights and as soon as we walked in were very impressed. The staff were friendly and very helpful with information in regards to the sites and transport, the location was AMAZING! Right across the road from the beach, and just down the road from a full street of cafe's and restaurants, the shopping mall with supermarket and Pacific Fair. The view from our room was beautiful, looking right down at the beach and all the way down the coast! Lazy boys, nice tidy kitchen, and very clean which is very important!!

I spent a week at the apartment as a base for a few days work and a few days leisure. My apartment had NE aspect with ocean views and balcony. A great way to welcome the new day. It was well appointed, clean and tidy. The building is probably 50 metres from the beach and very close to the Gold Coast Convention Centre, Casino and many good restaurants. Be aware the NE facing apartment may get quite hot in summer as even in June (Winter) I found the room seemed to become rather stuffy by about mid-day. I thought the cost to hire the apartment was very good value. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would certainly stay again.
