Spent a fantastic weekend in a one bedroomed apartment at this excellent resort. The apartment was very clean, spacious, stylish and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Foxtel, air conditioning, ceiling fans, comfortable furniture, flat screen tvs, fully equipped kitchens with dishwasher, and washing machine and tumble dryers. The beds were comfortable and it was really quiet at night. Great bbq area, again extremely clean, and well kept grounds. Lovely pool and hot spa, although the pressure in the hot spa could do with being turned down a tad as it was actually too good!! Staff were friendly and helpful, and couldn't do enough for us. Checking in and out was a pleasure, thanks to the lovely lady at the reception desk. Location was excellent, everything you could possibly want or need is within walking distance- Pacific Fair, Draculas, Jupiters, day spas, excellent bars, nightlife, Woolworths, bottleshop, speciality shops, restaurants, takeaways, beach, children's playground, etc. And if you don't want to walk or drive, most of the local restaurants will deliver to your apartment. Local restaurants suit all budgets from gourmet meals to $11 for steak, salad, chips and a pot of beer. Aruba Surf is definitely the most affordable place we have stayed at the Gold Coast and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Absolutely loved it :-) Small tip would be if you are staying more than one night bring extra towels, dish cloths and your own supplies of coffee, milk, toilet rolls, dishwashing/dishwasher liquids, soap powder etc.

I needed a break from seismic activity and was unable to holiday with my family so stayed on my own at Aruba Surf.
It was lovely. Not a tall swaying or rocking building but a well equipped apartment with internet access, all the necessary kitchen appliances, (washing machine and tumble dryer in bathroom area) and excellent water pressure in the shower.
Loved my balcony with the wee table and chairs.
I swam every morning before breakfast in the the beautiful outdoor heated pool. The spa was good too.
And the location? Fantastic. So close to the shops and bus stops.
The staff were really nice and helpful. Made bookings for me to see shows etc.
If I get the opportunity to visit the Gold Coast again I would stay at Aruba Surf and have already recommended it friends and shared my positive experience with the travel agent.

We stayed for 6 nights,Beautiful grounds,nice size pool and spa.Staff very nice and helpful,Across the road from The Beach Hotel for $10 meals.5min walk to oasis centre,and 2min to beach.I would take older children here but not wee ones as the pool has no real shallow end were littles could paddle.we stayed in unit 29 quite modern looking but just getting a little tired around the edges but that wasnt a big deal.Casino,dracs,buses,pacific fair all a block away.

First thing we noticed was how clean the apartment was.Pleased the pool was heated too with plenty of 'sun traps'. Close to shops and beach. Staff and management very helpful.
Well equiped apartment and found our stay very restful..BBQ area very good and easy to operate .Hope to be back next year.
