Aria Apartments are located in Broadbeach part of the Gold Coast, 10 minutes by car from the centre of Surfers Paradise. Have stayed in the heart of Surfers before and wanted to try somewhere different so chose Broadbeach which is a little quieter than Surfers itself. Broadbeach is great there is plenty of restaurants and shops and everything is close together. The Aria Apartments are in Albert Avenue and is walking distance to everything in Broadbeach. There is Niecon Plaze right across the right which has a food court you walk through there and you are in the Broadbeach Mall, you walk across that and you are in Oasis Shopping Centre where you can catch the monorail to Jupiters Casino (recommend Food Fantasy Buffet at the casino complex). The beach is a 2 minute walk also, the bus stop into Sufers and for the theme parks is 5 minutes walk, multitude of restaurants no more than 2 to 5 minutes walk. The apartments themselves are fantastic. We had a 3 bedroom on the fifth floor over looking the outdoor pool (which is heated and 25 metres). The apartment was very spacious with 2 bathrooms and a decent balcony. Noise wise you could get woken by the garbage trucks at 6am but this will be the case whereever you stay in Broadbeach or Surfers. Also note this is an apartment not a hotel, please be aware you will need to provide your own amenities, eg. toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, they supply a small amount on your arrival then its up to you. As long as you aware of this before you go which I was from reading other reviews then I didn't have any issues. Also the apartment is not serviced unless you are staying more than 9 nights which again was not an issue for us as we were aware. Also the Thai restaurant on Albert near the entry is excellent. Would definitely come back, couldn't stop saying everyday how perfect the location was.

Room Tip: We had room 504 overlooking Albert Ave, The pool and the beach

We love our location too! ARIA Management also wishes to advise that we have introduced a "mini service." Guests who choose to add on this service will recieve fresh towels, new toiletries and a minor clean everyday if desired. A mini non-alcoholic mini bar has now been added to all rooms. If you do forget to bring something do not panic. Reception does stock most necessities.

“Back a 2nd time, would I do a third?”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 December 2011

Aria in Broadbeach is a luxury condo nestled into a cluster of restaurants, bars and shopping about a half hour walk from the centre of Surfers Paradise. The high rise is about 40% owners and 60% vacation rentals. It has a 12 person cinema, a gym, sauna, steam, a good sized pool, Jacuzzi and a good sized BBQ common area. The suite was $AU285 per night. It was a two bedroom/two bathroom “03” with a very open plan. The bedrooms and bathrooms were at each end of the living/cooking quarters and a broad balcony ran the entire length. The view over the pool was fairly unobstructed to the beach and beyond. The morning sun reached the bed in early December and was a treat to wake up to. The wide patio doors meant there was no need to use A/C. The master suite had a jetted tub, separate toilet and showers and two sinks. The room was separated from the bedroom by a floor to ceiling glass wall. Too bad the high-rise a few hundred meters away broke the privacy of view soaking. The suite had all the amenities including all dishes and appliances with starter laundry and dishwasher soap. Woolworth’s is across the street for more soap and foodstuff. There is Sat TV which I imagine varies by suite depending on the owner’s subscription. Ours had plenty of sports channels including ESPN. That brought in college and pro US sports for those of us who can’t figure out cricket. We had 3 TV’s in total but that too will vary by owner. So will the state of repair. The 12 year old suite we had needed a makeover. It was perfect for two business colleagues, but could use some paint and carpeting. The 2nd bedroom had two single beds which would be less comfortable for two vacationing couples sharing the suite. There was free parking. Booking over the internet was a breeze. It is the fifth complex I have rented in the Surfers area and the second time I have stayed at Aria. Would I make it a third? You bet.

Room Tip: "03" is perfect for two couples but ensure the 2nd room isn't two single beds.

ARIA Management is so pleased to hear that you will stay with us again!!
All of our units in the holiday pool recieve the same AUSTAR channels which have recently been updated to include more sport and more for the kids!
New management has made it a priority to ensure all rooms are upgraded by the end of this year. If in doubt about bedding arrangements etc it is always better to book direct! Our staff can help you much more than the computer can.
We look forward to seeing you again!

“As Good as Any in Broadbeach”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 October 2011

Have stayed in several spots in Broadbeach including The Wave & Meriton and now Aria 3 times and I would rate them the equal of any in the area.
Lovely modern apartments with large balcony and sweeping ocean views just a delight to wake up to. Well decorated with modern facilities. In a great location only 150m from beach but right in the cafe/restaraunt/shopping precinct. My motto when staying here is 'the car never need come out'. Common areas such as BBQ, Pool & Spa are first rate.
It is however an apartment block not a hotel - so don't expect the touches that come with a Sofitel/Hilton etc. Saying that though the reception staff are attentive and helpful.
The only problem is it can be a bit noisy in the morning with rubbish collection and building activity in the area, however that is a problem with all of the venues I have stayed in Broadbeach.
Would however have no hesitation booking Aria again - great place for a Gold Coast holiday.

Room Tip: Book a high floor to get best view.

“Aria Broadbeach”

We stayed at Aria Broadbeach last month and loved it. We stayed on the 11th floor, great view, extra large balcony, all the mod cons, big bedrooms, great pool - our 2 year old loved it. We had read other reviews and were worried about the noise, but we didn't hear much (11th floor). It is in the middle of everything, but we like having everything at our doorstep. Will definitely stay again.

If you are really worried about the noise or have any other special requests it is always better to contact us directly, prior to making the booking. ARIA Reception also hires out cots, prams, strollers and even water toys for guests travelling with children - so that you don't have to bother dragging it with you! We can't wait to see you all again soon!

“The Best Penthouse on the Gold Coast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 August 2011

We stayed in the Penthouse (#2502) in late Aug 2011. The apartment was awesome. It consists of 4 bdms - all with King/Queen beds - 3 down on the bottom level + 1 (master) on the top level - the master + one downstairs have huge ensuites + massive walk-in robes - there is a big main bathroom along with a powder room. There are 3 lounge rooms (one with sofa beds) with nice/new leather lounges + trendy/new furnishings (rugs/sculptures etc). The kitchen is large, modern + fully equipped. Lots of big balconies with views to east/south/west so uninterrupted views to ocean/hinterland. On the roof, you have a long lap pool, a sauna, another bathroom with toilet/shower as well as more balconies + BBQ. We have stayed in many penthouses up/down the Gold Coast before but this is the best. The cost per night is quite high but I think it is worth a splurge for what you get in this apartment. Location is excellent - right in Broadbeach - dozens of cafes/restaurants/bars just outside the door + Convention Centre/Oasis shopping centre 100m away (the latter hosts the monorail station to Jupiters Casino). We will be back.

Thank you very much! You are not alone! We - and a number of other guests - also think its the best! Since new management took over, the Penthouse pool is now heated! (T&Cs apply - enquire when booking).
