Lovely cosy cottage, tiny but perfectly formed!
Very comfy bed. Tea, coffee, milk & biscuits provided which was nice. We like good coffee so it was good to have a cafetière & a choice of Illy coffees. Great location.
Highly recommend.

Sweet cottage
My Wife and I celebrated our 41st wedding anniversary at this delightful little cottage. Although it is small it is perfectly laid out and catered for all our needs. It was spotlessly clean with the linen and towels being of excellent quality. We even had good quality bathrobes which were a lovely touch. At the side of the cottage is a small courtyard with pot plants and bistro set which we used on an afternoon/evening whilst watching the sunset. It's in an excellent location with local attraction being easily accessible.
We would definitely return and recommend to family and friends.

Does exactly what it says on the tin!
Beautiful cottage 10 minutes walk from all of the pubs and restaurants in Baslow which is right on the edge of Chatsworth Park and the nearby House. Really comfortable, warm, clean and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The owner is really helpful at every stage. Brilliant! We will definitely go back and thoroughly recommend it.

5 stars
We stayed here for 3 nights but honestly wished it was longer. The cottage is indeed cosy, but with some modern and thoughtful touches. The bedroom is open to the stairs and has a lovely view over gardens and hills. The bathroom is like a 5 star hotel bathroom and even the towels are fluffy! Little touches like somewhere to sit to do your make up and a full length mirror really do make a difference. The bed was comfy and we slept well as all was quiet outside. We only used the kitchen to make breakfast but there was everything we needed and we could’ve made a meal had we desired. The cottage was immaculately clean and water was hot and the shower powerful. Baslow is lovely and we had a very good meal at the Wheatsheaf just down the road. We went to Bakewell which is only 10 minutes away and also Tideswell and Eyam. Chatsworth House is 30 minutes walk but we saved that for next time. We will definitely be back to Cosy Cottage as it was the nicest rental we’ve ever had and the owner was a pleasure to deal with. The yummy biscuits were good too!

Home from Home
Just got back from a 5 day stay at the Cosy Corner Cottage and it is exactly that...A beautiful cottage with everything you need for your stay plus a few extras from Liz the owner. In a great location for seeing the delights of Derbyshire, such as Chatsworth House, Bakewell, Matlock etc and close to The Monsal Trail for walkers and cyclists..Had a great time in this lovely county and in this lovely cottage...Will definitely return. Communication from the owner before and after was second to none...thanks again.

Fantastic cottage for a long weekend
What a wonderful cottage. It truly lives up to it's name! Very comfortable and furnished to a high standard. It was the Easter weekend and we were delighted to find that Liz had left chocolate treats in the fridge and dotted around the cottage. We explored Chatsworth House (pretty much on your doorstep), climbed the local hills (Baslow and Curbar Edges are well worth your time), and enjoyed true Derbyshire hospitality in the local pubs and restaurants. Can't wait to come back and experience the cottage in winter!

Stayed from Friday to Monday for a great weekend. Property was spotless and in great condition. Had everything we needed and more. Location was great. Nice quite spot with great little shop round corner with basics open 8 to 8. Walking distance to several great pubs for a drink or food. Best of all walking distance to Chatsworth. Parking nice and easy just round the corner. Owner good on communication and even had cottage ready early on the Friday. Would definitely stay again.

Baslow village is situated at the northern edge of Chatsworth Park in Derbyshire and the Peak District National Park.Baslow is divided into three areas which are over end ,Nether End and Bridge End where the river Derwent is spanned by an 18th century bridge beside which is a small stone shelter built for the toll collector.Baslow is a superb location with magnificent views to be had from the nearby Baslow Edge, where the moorland is a wilderness of heather.A choice of so many events taking place in Chatsworth or just a picnic in the beautiful Chatsworth Estate. The time is yours to enjoy relaxation, walking, cycling or dosing on a picnic blanket surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the Peak District. The choice of restaurants, pubs and fine dining are all within easy walking distance from Cosy Corner Cottage and no need for a car.Perfect!
