“Warmth with Flair”

We appreciated the high standard of Cardno's, but especially the points-of-diference: binoculars being supplied to better view the fur seals at Nugget Point, help to print out the paperwork for our flights home, the chatty frog int the flax bushes. Impeccably appointed and cosily heated - when it's SOMETIMES needed in a NZ summer. ( Also enjoyed the choice of Summer or Winter Time with the 2 clocks........)

Room Tip: We were perfectly happy to forgo the view for a quirky dimensions of the rear unit. Could PERHAPS b...

Hello, sorry not to have thanked you for your review earlier, so valuable to get positive feedback , and yes the back unit - unit 3, is a nice comfortable unit, it is very well priced and has the same fresh look as the other units.
We meet such lovely guests and this makes us in turn give our best, we have had great weather of late but today it is raining cats and dogs as the say, but the weekend looks promising. Kind regards Lyn

“Top Spot-Top Accomadation.”

Kaka Point in the Catlins area is definitely the best place to stay. Beautiful beach., best fish and chips, and central for viewing all the attractions in the area. Carno's must be the cleanest accomadation in the area. We stayed at short notice so missed out on a unit with an amazing sea view but everything was so clean and comfortable it did'nt matter. Highly recommend. Thanks Lyn.

“Fantastic place to stay”

My husband and I stayed one night at Cardno's but wished we could have stayed longer. Unit 1 was beautifully appointed and very clean with fabulous views of the ocean and the lighthouse in the distance. Lynn gave us heaps of advise in regard to the many attractions that were on our doorstep which was much appreciated as we had so little time in the area. An added bonus was watching the tuis and bell birds feeding at our front door thanks to the sugar water bowl in the garden. Would definitely recommend Cardno's Accomodation

“Most Wonderful Site”

We stayed 3 nights in Unit 1 and enjoyed every minute of our stay in the Catlins. Cardno's accommodation was first class and truely lives up to the description. It was an ideal base for exploring the region and Jan was very helpful in providing all the right advice for getting to places and tide times so that we saw those sites that depended on low tide.

Room Tip: There are only 3 units. I&2 have sea views so go for one of these unless you want the budget uni...
