Our big family of three generations spent a week at Nordwest Sicily with four rooms at this relaxing villa as our base.
We particurlarly appreciated its size, not too big - not too small as well as the rooms of different sizes and equipments.
The pool was constantly kept in a good shape.
The daily management acted in a sensitive and adaptive way. We were generally very well served with informed and valuable recommendations regarding restaurants, shops and excursions.

We spent 4 nights at this hotel and we can say that overall it was a positive experience and relaxing.

It was a bit difficult to find the hotel even though we had the GPS, it helped to view photos of the surroundings before visiting.

It is 15-20minutes walk from the center/beach but it is a pleasant walk. The hotel is equipped with a pool which is a great plus if you want to relax in a more quite/hassle free atmosphere. The breakfast is served in the bedrooms private terrace. Good breakfast which includes bread, cheese, tomatoes, yogurt, fresh fruit, croissants, orange juice, coffee & tea. Mary the person running the hotel offered a good service and always willing to help and advice where to go.

The only negative point is that they hardly speak English in San Vito and it really helped knowing to communicate in Italian.

We really enjoyed our trip to San Vito Lo Capo, and our stay at Relias Le Nereidi. The reason we selected this accommodation was the swimming pool – and we were not disappointed. The pool was a real benefit -we found it nice to spend some days there, rather than at the beach for a change.

Breakfast: Fantastic fresh typical Sicilian breakfast (plentiful), served on your patio

Location: Set in a quite suburb at the top of a hill. 15 mins Walk downhill to the beach / 20 mins to the main restaurant and bar area in San Vito. There is continuous street lighting from town to property (with the exception of 120m mid way) – note that as typical in Sicily the side walk is intermittent.

Service: Excellent – friendly and helpful family atmosphere

Beach: Very very nice – shallow for 50m... crystal clear water. Soft white sand. Public areas and private beaches all around the cape. Cost for umbrella plus two sun loungers is typically 15 euros /day (July 09). No toilet / shower or changing facilities on the beach – use of associated bars and hotels is permitted.

Restaurants: Plentiful supply of traditional good quality in the town. Budget 50-60 Euros for a good meal for two with a litre wine (July 09).

Note that public toilets in restaurants and bars are not of the same quality and cleanliness as UK/US; often communal and frequently without toilet seat / toilet paper / soap and hand drying facilities.

Very special place: this is a true villa with pool, in secluded and exclusive neighborhood. You feel at home, especially in low season periods, when it can happen to be the only guests. Rooms are very ok, just few details need some renovation: surely mr. Dario, the owner, will fix them in a short time. Housekeeper is Claudia, lovely and professional girl who baked cake right for us... In high season you can stay away from the crowd, since the place is completely independent from the nearby village of San Vito. In other words, you are free to create your lifestyle: lazy at the beatiful pool, or right in the middle of the scene of San Vito's beach.
