We chose the Cancelli Rossi Hotel by the Leonardo da Vinci airport because it was suggested by Delta and the features sounded good at their website.
However, the "superb restaurant" is actually at another hotel, which is several meters away down a dark alley. I wouldn't have gone alone.
The "private car shuttle" from the airport turned out to be a regular shuttle bus that serviced several hotels, and we found out at check out the next morning that we owed 24 euros for the shuttle service--6 euros for each of us, each way--an unexpected additional cost of about $35.
The room was adequate though quite small, with a lot of cigarette smoke and noise when we opened the window to get some air.
And the reason we took the shuttle was being unable to find the hotel by car--the directions to the address led us to a couple of buildings that were not the hotel. We decided to stop wasting gas and just use the "private car shuttle". When we took the shuttle we found out the hotel was hidden behind those buildings down a dark and curvy "road".
The internet service was also not free. We began to wonder if they would charge us extra for towels if we used more than one.
I wouldn't stay here again if they offered me a free night!
