5 mins to centre. Tight with water and do not replenish rooms. Most staff are lovely especially the girls. Felt like poor relations being chucked in the corner all the times - there were 49 of us foe 4 nights over Xmas !

Adequate hotel in the centre of an industrial estate. We were exhausted so decided to take a room. The room was clean and adequate and reasonably priced. The restaurant is across the car park and obviously regards itself as up market. What it was doing in an industrial estate I don't know. The food was good but very expensive and the house wine is £25 a bottle. The whole place seemed bizarrely out of kilter with the hotel and the environment. Breakfast was good although the hot food seemed to be kept warm for a long time and not monitored.

I was in the area on business, so this was just a place to rest my head.
The hotel is conveniently located on the edge of town, within 10 minutes walk of the local bars and restaurants.
On the plus side the staff are excellent, nothing is too much trouble. I arrived very late on the first night and even though the restaurant was closed they knocked up some sandwiches for me. The bar is fine, but as always for hotel bars - pricey.
The room is basically a box with twin beds, standard fare for a business hotel, but the shower dribbled, which isn't.
Taking everything into account, it was OK, but not stellar. However, when I come back to this area I'll book in again as the attention and commitment of the staff make it a place worth returning to.
