We stayed at the Golden Tulip in Zevenbergen over the holiday period with a group of nice British people on a coach trip. The hotel was good and the staff at the reception area and for breakfast were brilliant.
However, the staff in the restaurant in the building next door (which was part of the hotel) were appalling. They treated us as if we were second class citizens and as if it was all too much trouble. We felt as if we were an inconvenience and a nuisance to them. We would certainly not recommend going to the restaurant unless you were not bothered about how you were treated.
The cost of buying alcohol was very very expensive. They only had on offer one bottle of wine which was 24 Euros.
