just had a wonderful holiday in this hotel. Management and staff were very helpful and welcoming. Unfortunately there is no air conditioning and it was very humid at night otherwise it was excellent and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice relaxing atmosphere.

Four years on, the observations of the last reviewer hold good.
This boutique hotel remains an oasis in the midst of the increasing commercialism of Playa Blanca, being excellently located, just a 2 minute walk from the restaurants and shops.
In total contrast, the palm and geranium filled terrace with sea view and well spaced sun beds is tranquility personified.
Our bedroom was of moderate size, white walled, tiled floor, clean, comfortable and well maintained with lots of hanging and storage space. The bathroom was cramped but well appointed.
The staff were very attentive and flexible - unlike many chains, a 17.30 check out was no problem.
Free fruit baskets are dotted around, there is an honesty bar and the buffet breakfast (the only food available) was good but mostly pre-packaged as almost everything is imported. There was ample free parking.
The only significant drawback was that our ceiling fan was no substitute for the lack of air conditioning. Even in September, with the window wide open, we found it too warm to sleep soundly.
Ideal for couples, a very friendly, pleasant and enjoyable place to stay.

This has got to be the quietes hotel I have ever stayed at. A maximum 24 guests can stay here at any one time and whilst I was there , 3 of us occupied the hotel! The rooms are plain but classy, there is no restaurant but next door the excellent L'Artista Italian serves excellent , moderately priced food. The staff of three were helpful and not at all intrusive. They kept reassuring me that they were full the follwoing week but it didn't matter. Rooms are built from old houses from early this century. The only major drawback is no air conditioning. The windows open for max ventilation and the sea lulls you to sleep. despite the nearby resorts being a little loud, the hotel remained as quiet as anything. The veranda faces south and gets sun all day and at night you can use "the limited bar" for a quiet drink watching the waves and the stars. definitely one for lovers and those wishing to wind down, no facilities at all for kids , aimed really for couples.location is ideal for playa blanca town and nearby beach. No pool. Excellent despite the heat in the room.
