Stopped here with 3 other mates just wanting the typical lads holiday. I'll admit when the coach first dropped us off we were a bit worried we were in the middle of nowhere but you soon find out that it is within walking distance to everything you need. The rooms are basic but always very clean and the bar staff are always very friendly. We went with Thomson and so therefore had the 2wentys reps who were brilliant catering to our every need and made sure we got the most out of our holiday. Alex the night porter is a bit miserable but just be friendly with him and he shouldn't cause you any problems. The food is basic but cheap and tastes nice which is exactly what we want. Due to it been quite a small hotel you get to know everybody stopping there round the pool during the day. I simply could not reccomend this hotel highly enough.

Very nice, no problems would stay here again. We are in our 40s and wanted to cycle around the island. The bike hire shop is near by but ask them for a GPS sat nav as the route markings have been removed by some of the locals. Mountain biking round the interior was well rewarded with some spectatcular scenery. The hotel is clean and we never had any problems with idiots ( holiday makers or staff). Facilitiesare very good, clean pool and also squash/tennis courts, both reaonable at 10Euro. Hotel food was limited but good value and tasty. The area is as busy or relaxed as you may want, it all depends on what you want. We found the area on the sunset strip was best for us, near the Budda beach bar/hotel. There is a supermarket near by with good low cost food and drink. I would reccomed the BACH red wine at 3 euro a bottle. We also walked up the beach (away from SA) and found a number of lovely secluded coves and a very nice bar (I think you can get a small ferry to the remote bar) if you keep walking for 2-3 miles you will be rewarded with a stunning rocky out crop which was very beautiful and peaceful. Regular buses into the main city is worth while, also a walk around the old fort in Ibzia old town.

Just back from the Marian apartments,and they were awsome! All the staff are so nice and funny you could get a great laugh with them all day! They would help you however they could. The night care taker was abit strange but he didnt bother you atall and i suppose he was keeping us all safe. We had a 2 bed room apartment which was very clean, 2 double bed rooms and a sofa bed in the living room. Dining room table and chairs and a cooker with fridge freezer. I have to say it was the best hotel iv been in on any of my holidays. The food at the hotel was basic but ok value for money. i lived of cheese and ham toasties all week which was around 2 euro! Pool was clean and quite large with pool table and table tennis. It took us a few times tofind our way to west end but within 2 days we had it down and it turned out quite easy,about 10 min walk! over all excellent hotel would definatly stay there again!!! 10/10!!!

Stayed in the Marian July this year and when we got home booked up for 2 weeks again next year. Can't praise it more highly !
Agreed, when u first get there u can't Imagine it being near anything .. But it's less than a ten minute walk to the west end, supermarket less than 2. And to our despair on the last night we found out about 15 minutes walk the other way to cafe mambo, cafe del mar etc.
When we first booked up read bad stories about the night porter alex and that worried us until the day we got there as we're not the quietest of boys but if ye give him a bit of patter he's your best friend. Rooms are nice enough (especially the 07 ones the we requested for 2011) food is what u would expect but it's the bar staff and mainly a Dutch guy called norman ! Top fella and he'll see you right. The hotel is lively bit quiet enough at night if you want to get a sleep. Would go back the Marian again and again. Recommeded it to my friend and he's booked up for July.
