“Best of both worlds”

We booked this holiday as a last minute break in the sun. The hotel did not have many reviews from the UK and we discovered that it was mainly used by Germans. As we have previously experienced that German's have high standards in food and hotels we booked this hotel and were really pleased. The rooms were very modern, immaculately clean and functional. This hotel is small and very suited to couples of all ages. As a guest you have use of the Hotel Tanit, on the same site, also in the Fiesta hotel chain. We went all inclusive and met another couple who said this was the best hotel for all inclusive that they'd ever stayed in. I would say the Hotel Cala Gracio is definately more relaxed, quieter, very good quality food but did not have many facilities in the hotel, however having full use of all the Hotel Tanit facilities really makes up for it. The Hotel Tanit has a much larger selection of food and show cooking/grills if you don't mind eating in a large restaurant. We alternated between the Cala Gracio and Hotel Tanit restaurants and it worked very well. All in all an excellent hotel choice. The swimming pools are average and very cold but then we did choose end of season. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is within walking distance from San Antonio, but far enough away from the main hustle and bustle. We'd definately recommend the hotel.

What a find! a great little hotel. Rooms, modern, clean and stylish. Food and service excellent . The location was perfect , next to two really nice little coves which could be accessed from the hotel grounds. Best of all it is an adult only Hotel, mainly German guests. It is next to the Hotel Tanit which is a very large family Hotel run by the same hotel chain. You can use the facilities at this hotel if you want, but we choose not to as it was so peaceful where we were, but guests from the Tanit cannot use the Gracio. The only slight negative was the lack of space around the adult only pool but this would not put me off returning. So if you like peace and quiet , good service, and great value for money I would highly recommend.
P.S if hiring a car do not use Aguira Crown they charge 45euros on top of rental price for a full tank of fuel , we drove all over ibiza and only used quarter of a tank and they do not refund for fuel not used what a scam!

My husband and i came here on a 3 night stay , after looking at the reviews we decided to give it a go , this hotel is part of the larger hotel Tanit, the good thing about this hotel was that you could use the facilities in the tanit but as the cala gracio was an adult only hotel with its adult only pool , you could stay away from the children . For me this was good as my two were at home and my husband and i could enjoy some quality time, without watching other children and reminding ourselves how much we missed them. The beach was a minute walk away and i found it very relaxing , as for the food this was outstanding you had a waitress service ,and i have never been to an all inclusive restaurant which was so calm . There were mainly Germans in the hotel and i think more British should use it , for a 3* hotel the room were very clean and modern. i would highly recommend this hotel

“Relaxing, intimate, understated style and comfort”

If you're looking for an adults only, quiet, relaxed atmosphere in a hotel this ticks all the boxes - and PS make sure you don't book the Hotel Fiesta Tanit next door by mistake, which is louder, much bigger and full of kids! Seriously though you wouldn't know it once you're in the secluded and beautifully landscaped Cala Gracio hotel and grounds.

Our room was tastefully decorated and comfortable. The all inclusive food abundant, varied, and tasty, the staff friendly and unintrusive.

The pool area was nicely landscaped and there was also a hot tub (more of a welcome tepid tub in the heat!) which was a nice touch. The hotel is a stones throw from two delightful small beaches, the further, smaller one absolutely beautiful.

It takes about 15-20 mins to walk into San Antonio. We felt it necessary to spread the word to discerning UK visitors as the hotel was mainly used by German guests and didn't seem to be known widely to UK holidaymakers.

“A very pleasant stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 July 2010

Before booking this hotel I looked up the reviews on tripadvisor - but they all seemed to be in German - staying at the hotel I understood why as guests were mostly German. So I thought I had better write a review for anyone whose German is as poor as mine.

I found this hotel whilst considering booking the Tanit which is a very popular large hotel. There are lots of reviews for that which cover location etc, so I will not comment on those aspects. The Cala Gracia is in the same grounds- a bit nearer the sea. It has recently been renovated and has a "boutique" feel about it - we thought it was outstanding value for what we paid. Room on the small side but but quite stylish - large LCD television (although we didn't watch it so can't comment on channels available) good aircon and shower. We went all inclusive and got an excellent rate through a hotel booking company. As far as I could see British tour operators did not seem to use it. I think it is probably adults only as there were no children staying there - although plenty next door at the Tanit.

It had its own restaurant and bar - although you could also use restaurant and bars at the Tanit next door - although Tanit guests did not appear able to use the facilities at Cala Gracia. There was more choice of food at the Tanit - but we never ate there as the restaurant at the Cala Gracia was so much nicer - as was the bar Mainly buffet but a limited a la carte menu you could also order from.

Slightly odd is that you have to sign for drinks - never did really understand why - but be re-assured you are not charged for them as they are part of the all-inclusive deal.

All in all an excellent stay.
