We went at the end of September 2011 for the closing parties. We stayed 4 nights for my best friends Stag party. As best man I organised everything and hoped the decisions I had made would be good ones, we were not disappointed. Ana, who works at Poniente was very accommodating and she made sure we had everything we needed.

After a taxi from the airport we arrived at Poniente, and I could see on everyones face that this hotel was going to be just brilliant. Their was 11 of us and we stayed in 3 apartments, which are huge, with a social area and kitchen facilities. The service from the staff was great, they really looked after us. We had a complimentary bottle of Champagne in the fridge for each apartment and complimentary beer on arrival. This is a great place to stay and you can see Cafe Mambo lights from our balcony and only a short walk. The hotel can be a little noisey at night, with doors opening and closing but it didn't bother us.

I would like to say a huge thankyou for everything Poniente done to accommodate our stay. We all had a fantastic time and Poniente Playa had everything we required, I would go back anytime.

Keep up the excellent work you are doing. I will certainly recommend your apartments to all of my friends and family.

This was our first and, it has to be said, last trip to San Antonio! Ibiza itself was a beautiful place and I would certainly go back but I would avoid this town. The apartment was surprisingly spacious, clean and generally nice. The staff were welcoming and helpful for example our lock had broken on the door and within 15 minutes they had a handyman come and fix it. The apartments are about a 15/20 minute walk from the main beach and main town area which is a good distance because it isn't too far to walk easily and yet you are far enough out of the action for it to be quiet during the night. The pool was a 1 minute walk down the street which caused no problems at all and even though there aren't endless lines of sunbeds, we never had a problem finding some spare (especially in the mornings!). To get to the sunset strip it is only a 5 minute walk and there are some lovely bars along the front to watch the sunsets from. I would recommend getting a taxi into Ibiza Town, this cost us around 25 euros but it was definitely worth it, Ibiza Town is a beautiful place with lots of bars, shops and restaurants, I would go back there without hesitation.

me, my partner and 3 friends stayed here for 1 week in sept . The 2 bedroom apartment was good for the price had all amenities wanted for the stay, the rooms were clean as were cleaned every other day. We heard hardly any noise and and the noise we did hear was expected for ibiza during the closing partys The pool was in the sun throughout the day even if u do have to swop sides. location was a 10 min walk from mambo and a 2 min walk from a small beach was nice and a 15 min walk to the west end. For the price you pay it we expected alot less for what we got and after 3 years of goin to the isle we're set to stay there again next year :) 10/10 !!!!!!!!!!!

Some friends and I stayed here in September 2011. This was a second time staying here, we had previously stayed September 2010.

The location is really good, 15 minutes from the clubs in San Antonio and 5 minutes to the Sunset bars.

My review is not as good as last time. We had paid and booked a two bedroom apartment but we were put in a one bedroom apartment which was very small. We complained to the receoption and they then upgraded us to one of their first floor apartments which has an amazing roof terrace. The apartment was still one bedroom but the roof terrace made up for it a bit.

We stayed in the apartments for 6 nights and during the 6 nights our room was only cleaned once by a maid, which we all thought was disgraceful. We ran out of toilet paper and clean towels and repeatedly had to go down to reception and ask for supplies. The shower pressure was rubbish and the shower literally dribbled which meant that it took us 4 girls a long time to get showered and ready.

We wouldn't stay here again as was not as good value as last time and we couldn't cope with our apartment only being cleaned once.
