“Great Location!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 November 2011

I have stayed at the Abrat 3 times in the month of September and never had any problems. The food, garden, pools and rooms are nice. The best part about the hotel is its location, walking distance to the sunset bars and the beach! I would recommend this hotel for 25-30 year olds. The decor of the hotel is a little dated but you get what you pay for and everything is spotlessly clean so you can’t complain. The bar staff are very friendly and helpful! The hotel is really strict about music being played after 10pm in the rooms, so if you’re after a party stay somewhere else nearer the West End. If you want a sea view you pay more as you would in all hotels, if you don’t you face into the gardens behind the hotel. I would definitely stay at the hotel again!

Room Tip: Request a sea view room to watch the sunsets!

“Depressing”

After reading trip advisor i was a bit apprehensive about this Hotel. Upon arriving we had to wait for an hour to enter our room. I do believe they immediately judged us and as two 20 something girls our room was placed overlooking the "garden”, it was horrible.

The Hotel will suit anyone with a passion for dark mahogany, it is everywhere. The younger staff are lovely. But the older staff have no time for anyone below the age of 40.

The room was clean and the maids work really hard. It is a good job that you are only a 10 minute walk from San Antonio Bay, as the atmosphere around the pool was dead. Never in my life have i been in such a hostile environment.

The hotel is more like an old people’s home. Everybody seems to be in bed for 10pm.

the plus point of the area is that you are able to sleep as it is not in the centre of san antonio.

if you are young and want the best Ibiza has to offer stay somewhere else, we spent a lot of time at Hotel Marco Polo 1 as the pool and people staying there were of the same age. and friendly.

seriously, i know this is cheap but it is not cheeful. the hostels we walked past on the way to the west end looked much more attractive.

the saviour of this Hotel is the tapas restaurant at the top of the road. it was beautiful and of course the maids, the hotel would be nothing without them.

The food is terrible,

would not stay again.

Room Tip: Never choose a garden view if under 30. you will end up overlooking a septic tank.

“We won't get back!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 September 2011

Too many people in Sant Antoni by the end of July and the hotel was disappointing. We stayed there for 10 days. The bedroom was fairly nice but looking on the worst side of the place. on the 2nd floor. The receptionists and the food were really bad most days. The beach was nearby, but too small and water not trustable with too many yachts around! Dinner at 7.30, too late for the ones who wanted to something after the meal. The leftovers were always there the next day "dressed up" in another name on the menu. Breakfast always the same with lots of oil everywhere - eggs, bacon, etc. No coffee at breakfast, just that powder mixture with bad water. If you wanted a real coffee you had to pay for it at the hotel bar!
Next time, Mallorca is the destination! Never got disappointed there, for about 8-9 Summers so far.

“Excellent Value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 September 2011

I stayed here on a small 3 day break first 3 days of september ,travelling alone i was looking for somewhere cheap and clean not too far from the sunset strip and this ticked all the boxes .
rooms are basic but clean and although i didnt have a sea view the balcony was nice enough looking into the near by hills . didnt try the food at the hotel but the small poolside cafe area looked nice enough . the pool area is quite small but not over crowded and as i prefer the beach didnt really try it out .
best beach to visit in this area is only ten minute walk to the left as you come out of the hotel entrance . its called cala gracio and you probably wouldnt know it was there unless looking for it .
this hotel is perfect for those wanting a quiet area which is also close enough to the nightlife . the hotel reception staff were very friendly and offered a shower room for the final day after checking out and happily booked me a taxi to the airport
.curry club ,cafe mambos and savanhas are all within ten minutes of the hotel and are good food options .
the bus station is also just a 15 minute walk and has regular buses to ibiza town which is well worth a visit day or night

“Excellent hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 August 2011

This hotel is in a fantastic location, right next to a lovely beach and within walking distance of the main San Antonio pub strips, ideal for walking back on those late nights.

This hotel is clean, comfortable and with good aircon for those hot days; staff are both helpful and curteous.

Due to it's location it provides a nice quiet retreat to kick back and relax in after those late nights and for value for money in comparison to other hotels, this wins hands down.

A wonderful, comfortable, excellent value for money stay. Would definitely stay again.
