I stayed here in July 2011 with eight of my friends, all of us being 18 or 19 at the time. We stayed in the apartments for a week and booked through co-operative travel but had a thomas cook rep. Overall the stay was very enjoyable. The rooms are very basic, yet there is everything you need. The bathroom was quite small but for the money we couldn't complain! The maids come in every day unless you ask them not to if you are sleeping, and they clean up and give you fresh towels, etc.
The place is in a very good location, literally steps away from the beach, which is very clean and never so busy you can't find a spot. The apartment view is not of the beach, but the balconies have a small table and chairs, which is all you can ask for.
It is in the nicer end of town, with about a 20 minute walk to the West End where all of the bars are, which is nice if you want to be able to get sleep at night! There is a small supermarket just around the corner, which sells lots of alcohol and plenty of food. The kitchen ammenities in the rooms are just a small hob, a fridge and lots of cutlery, plates, etc. The food at the hotel was good value for money, we only really ate there for lunch so just had sandwiches etc, but they were decently priced and always tasty enough to cure a hangover. We paid a small amount for the air con and safe deposit, I can't remember how much but it was not a lot between the three of us per room.
We only had a few minor problems with the hotel. First of all, the power kept going off in the rooms on evenings so we had to sit in the hallway to use hairdryers, etc. This also meant the fridge that we had food in would be off, but this wasn't really a huge problem. Another issue was we tried to bring some male friends from home back to our rooms but were not allowed (understandably as this is a family hotel), but when they weren't allowed in they tried to climb onto the balcony. The staff went absolutely off it at us even though we did not ask them to do this. They banged on our door and demanded our passports and made us sign forms and said they were going to kick us out in the morning. We were very worried but after apologising profusely the next day we were allowed to stay. The staff were, before this, very friendly, yet after this they were not so happy with us. Another night we were talking in one of the doorways in the corridor in the early hours and the receptionist came and was very angry with us. I understand this is a family hotel but we were having a quiet conversation and they may have overreacted slightly! We also left our towels on the balconies to dry and they were stolen overnight, as we were on the bottom floor but the balconies are raised about five feet off the ground. This was annoying but perhaps a fault of our own.
However, we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at this hotel and would go back! It was very good value for money, especially with the high prices in Ibiza, and we never had any trouble with theft as I know a lot of the hotels in San Antonio do. The problems we had were probably mostly our own fault so do not let this put you off staying here! I would say this is more suitable for people who are looking for a quieter holiday, as it is not a party place, but we still had a nice time.
