We have just arrived back frm a fantastic holiday in Praia da rocha for the second time in 3 years and thankfully the hotel Algarve Mor was available the day we arrived as if not i would of been prepared to sleep rough rather than stay in the cesspit of filth, we arrived at 11.30pm and the cub opposite was very much open unlike the hotel said it would be and it was very very loud! despite paying for a sea view, we shoved onto th back of the hotel on the 3rd floor which we thought we would just deal with, then the room was smelly and boiling hot, i pulled the sheet back and there were brown stains on the sheet, i was hoping hi was a one off but a further FIVE rooms had the same problem with the sheets the smell and the general tidyness off rooms, one room didnt even have the beds made.
The chap on the front desk was not at all helpfull but as he said everytime i asked him something "im only night staff" this was a completley discusting and not at all acceptable. Please do yourselves a favour and do not stay here!!!!!!!

My friend went there and it was amazing, we were a bit worried about the hotel when we first arrived and specially after the reviews but on arrival the reception staffs were really nice. Our room was clean and as there were 5 of us we got given an extra room for free.
We really enjoyed the night life was out everyday for the 14 dyas stay and the restaurants are good too. The beach is really close like 5mins walk or even less. Planning to go back there as the people were really friendly and patient specially with us coming back to the hotel at early hours of the morning and making noise and always asking for things from reception.The only downfall was breakfast as the food was not as nice as we expected but cannot really complained only ate there once and rest if the time ate out as we always missed breakfast due to partying all night long lol. Would defo recommend anyone wanting to party and enjoy the beach this is the best location and after all we only paid £180 each for two weeks therefore we got our monies worth!

I went here with my mother for a week on 22 October. We had read the reviews and was dreading it but to be honest we didnt pay too much and it was fine. The rooms were small but we were facing the back so had no noise, the lights were a bit faulty but reception sorted this very quickly. The bars and nightclub were not too noisy and was just next door for us. The beach was easy to get too, there was a slope at the end of the road. The Portugese were lovely and all the people in the reasurant were ace! Mario in the Safari was lovely and we went to see Ciaran in the Crock bar singing who was fab!

The nightclub mentioned is about 25 foot away so therefore its very noisy. Rated at 3 star its more a 1 or 2. No swimming pool, and doors were banging all night. Breakfast - continental was rubbish the one and only 2 slice toaster they had did not work. The first room we had was on the first floor and faced directly out to the Nightclub so we asked to be moved. They gave us another room on the 5th floor, which was much bigger and had a much more modern bathroom. Unfortunately when you used the sink the water come out of the pedestal which they obviously knew about as there was a rag there to soak up the water. The staff were all very pleasant, and the resort itself was fantastic. Overall I would give it 2 out of 10, we would not stay there again, but would definately go to Praia Da Rocha beautiful resort.
