Stayed here for a long weekend in October. In terms of location you need a car as it's in the middle of nowhere basically but is accessible to lots of tourist towns. The room was large by european standards and was obviously brand new. It was cosy, clean and comfortable and even had electric curtains and surround sound. Buffet breakfast was just fine but we did eat dinner there one night and it was pretty lousy.
If you cross the road in front of the hotel and walk over the green bridge and carry on walking straight, you'll come to an Italian restaurant on ure right hand side - we ate there lots and it was DELICIOUS, such a great restaurant which I highly recommend :-)
