“Good stay I be back on 3-12 for 8 days”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 March 2011

I stayed at this hotel for 6 days. The 1st room was a dirty we complained n we were giving a different room which was great can't complain about. Staff was friendly and as far as the area I never felt unsecured at all. Far as I recall there were cops checking in the lobby every night. The first room was rated 1
The second I rate a 8 comfort

“Affordable, budget inn, walking distance to tourist area”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 February 2011

If you want a low budget place to stay - this meets the grade. Its an older motel but they have obviously taken pains to make it nice without spending a lot of money. We arrived late at night and were a little edgy at first. We walked over the pedestrian bridge to the main road for a bite to eat and realized it wasn't as bad as it seemed at first glance. Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean. TV and a/c worked fine.

If you want the royal fanfare with all the trimmings, don't go here. If you're looking to spend more time in Puerto Rico and not in your hotel, then this could be a good fit.

Once we asked them to change our bedding (b/c it looked dirty) we had a great time. Mainly local vacationers stay here, so it has a very casual feel. Weekend pool parties can keep you up if you're room is above the pool and you're a light sleeper, but if you drink as much as my mother and I did, you won't even notice!

“OMG”

This is the noisiest place one could ever imagine. The first two rooms I had were nasty!!! It is impossible to sleep in this place, no lamps and I had to stand on the bed to switch the fan and light on or off. I had no fridge and the air conditioner sounded like god knows what. The "bridge" to the beach was poorly light and several times I found people sleeping on it. The police were there three times and once a car full of officers in fatigues pulled up stared in lobby for a minute and drove off. Spend the extra money and stay some place else.

“Loved It”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 May 2010

i have read many reviews before my travel, and was worried about what I would find once I got there. I must say that the hotel was great. The water on the floors that people had talked about was because the hallways are "open air", the room was clean and only steps from the beach. We had dinner at the restaurant one night, food was excellent and could not ask for a better bartender (hi Norma), she was great. It doesn't have all of the ammenities BUT your on vacation and at the beach, WHAT DO YOU NEED?
