I know this is a cheap hotel, I have stayed here before but this time I was very disappointed, the room was so small the bed was so very hard, the night desk guy was kind of rude. the price was very low, and we only stayed for a few hours before our flight. So you get what you pay for

My friends and i went to PR for a weekend and our plan was to make a road trip around the island, so we wanted a cheap place to go to sleep and take a shower.. they chose Coqui Inn.. we payd more than 90 USD per night which i think it was TOO much due to the hotel is not pretty at all.. rooms are depressing.. tiny bed, ugly bathroom, they dont give you food, but they dont sell it to you either, i mean.. they dont have food over there.. what i mean is, that's the tipical hotel you espect to get to when you're looking for a cheap hotel, but the thing here is that 90 per night is not thaaaaaat cheap for what the hotel looks like... i think you can get something better for that price...
well, not everything is so bad... the location of the hotel is good, the people who works there is kind, and at least they have 2 pools... but i wouldnt come back not even to half price

I should have read the other reviews more closely, but I wanted a cheap place near the airport for an early morning flight. The $91 (including tax) wasn't really all that cheap and I have to echo the other reviews about the cleanliness. We checked in late in the evening, expecting only a basic place to sleep. The first warning sign should have been the complete lack of toilet paper - but that was easily fixed. When I pulled back the covers, I discovered that the sheets had not been changed. In addition to the stains, there was a lot of little black debris or something both on top and underneath the sheets. I don't know what bedbugs look like, and these little black things weren't moving, but we quickly decided not to stay. The man at the desk gave us a quick refund with no complaint and we went to the Howard Johnsons near the beach and only paid $30 more.

I'm a retired veteran so I'm used to staying just about anywhere. I am moving to pr and this was my first stop. It's not the ritz but it is a room for someone on a budget. It's also close to bars and good places to eat. I would recommend this place for the price and the staff will help you find things to do. No issues with the room and has a great pool.
