In the hotel there are big rooms but when i went there the room was the size of a box. There are 2 buildings and we were in the main one. We were staying there h/b. The food was all the same everyday. I would not recomend this hotel.

We stayed here for 2 weeks in June 2007. The hotel itself was ok but we never got a room in the hotel instead we were located in the apartments across the road. I see the hotel has now changed its name to Aparthotel Paradis Park which is a better indication of what it is.
We loved this holiday dont get me wrong and the area is very nice however the rooms were basic, our room was away from the mail building, restaurant and bar so this was not perfect. The service was poor. This was not the fault of the staff who were great and enjoyed a drink in the evenings when there work was done. But there was only one bar and it was tiny. Maybe 2-2.5 meters in length. In peak season the wait was upwards of 20mins for 2 drinks (this was the max allowed to order in one go).
We met some great people on this trip and this was what made the holiday what it was.

Overall for the price you pay this is a decent trip. I would recommend however you avoid at peak season. The hotel grounds are not large enough for all the hotel guests and apartment guests and this can create a very crammped atmosphere at the pool, bar, restaurant and in the evenings sitting out.

This holiday was meant to be a late getaway, cheap n cheerful! It was cheap but it definately wasnt cheerful!

When we arrived about 11pm we were given keys for 'the annex' an apartment block across the road from the hotel that resembled a prison, no balcony and 70's decoration! We did advise the receptionist that we required a balcony, just to be brushed off with 'come back tomorrow when the manager is in'!! This we did first thing only to be told that there was 'no rooms left' in the main building, this we found strange as it wasnt a busy period! We were told to wait 3 days and then there should be a room available. When speaking to another couple later that day who had arrived the same day as us, they had refused to move from the reception until they were given a room in the main building, and magically a room became free and they were moved! We returned and demanded to be moved and we were......amazing....if you have this problem do not back down!! The room we were moved to did have a balocony but resembled a 70's butlins chalet....depressing!

The pool area looked ok but flies are a problem, not very hygenic! Our son who is 6 had an accident around the pool due to a drainage gutter which was extremely deep, he fell down it and almost broke his arm, luckily the people around the pool at the time were extremely helpful but be warned, the pool area and the 'kids park' are both extremely dangerous, there was a few accidents whilst we were there and ambulances being called on occasion!

The food - well I dont even think you could call it that, it was disgustin...my son lived on plain pasta with tomato sauce - one day he did try the chicken noodle soup - only to be vomiting for the rest of the holiday, he wasnt well at all and we heard that a few adults and other children had also come down with food poisoning!! nightmare!

Entertainment - well there was hardly any and if the did have something on the room was far too small and you couldnt even get standing room never mind a seat! Our son was terribly dissapointed. Also the first night we arrived there was a 'brawl' around the pool bar - our son was terrified! I know this is not the fault of the hotel and they did sort it out but it just shows the type of place it is - cheap n nasty!!

I have never been on a holiday when I was looking forward to going home so much! We didnt expect 5 star but we didnt even get 1 star....the worst holiday ever - We will definatley be more careful in future!

we have stayed at this hotel before so knew what to expect the property is a bit tired but its small enough to get to know other holiday makers and enjoy your stay . the rooms are cleaned daily along with clean towels. the food is basic but in my opinion there is always something for everyone to eat. the daytime entertainment for the kids is ok but could be better . nightime entertainment ive seen flemenco dancers a singer sonny roeder these are proberly the best the rest was disco or karaoke the all inclusive package was well worth it you are allowed 2 drinks at a time which was good . the pool is a reasonable size and sunloungers are plentiful i would reccomend kiddies to wear those jelly shoes as there is a few tiles missing off the bottom of the pool . the reception staff dominique lola and kumar are very good and speak english for the price this hotel is a great base for touring costa brava
