Stayed here with my two children (5 & 9yrs), and really enjoyed it.
The hotel itself is quite basic but very clean, and everything was working. It does have aircon in the rooms but this is controlled by the hotel and not individually by the room so a bit of a letdown there.
The food was always fresh and we managed to find something to eat everyday. There is a grill where you can pancakes made for you in the morning or fresh fish etc made for the evening meal, so full marks there. The only downside for me was that hot drinks arent available in the evening with your meal, only cold or alcholic. I dont know why but they turn off the hot drinks machine in the evening, but this is only a minor complaint and probably wont even be noticed by most.
The pool is small but sufficient with a childrens area and sunbeds are always available.
One of the reasons I booked the Stella was so that I could spend time in the Spa whilst they were in the kids club. However, in early June the kids club and Spa had conflicting opening times so no pampering for me! :)
Overall it is a pleasant hotel. Not one for groups of students somaybe not the place to go if you want to go partying every night as the entertainment is limited, but you do feel very safe here. Would I go back? For the price we paid, definitley.

Taking my grand kids this year Hotel is clean, staff are really good, food really good nice pool, not far from the beach, we stayed late august september weather was all so good carn't say enything bad about this hotel,

We were in this hotel with the family again! And really satisfied again. This hotel is very clean, friendly to the children, have good food and is not far from the beach. All service are very quick and friendly. I can recomend this hotel to the all age categories! And don´t worry to come with the small children - here are prepared for them - baby bad, dining seat, bib, children´s swimming pool, playing area and animation.
From Pineda you can take the train to Barcelona, Girona and other places, good service.
Go to the Stella & Spa and enjoy it!!!!

we stayed here in august 2008 and again in 2009. lovely hotel enjoyed every minute, the food is nice a little bit same old same old but still nice and on some days chefs were there cooking things fresh for you. internet access in reception and also laundry services (charges apply). you can book excursions in reception but slightly cheaper up the road (if you go up the side of the hotel towards the shops you'll see a shop on the corner that does euros, hire cars excursions etc try there) reception staff extremley helpful and bent over backwards to help you especially mercedes. all in all nice hotel nice food and lovely staff would definately go again no doubt about it. the only things i can complain about if anything is the pool is freezing but after 5 minutes you get used to it lol and the room walls are a little thin but no where near as bad as some places i have been. like i said lovely place lovely people.
