stayed recently in this hotel with my family. Very, very quiet hotel and location. The hotel itself is nearly charming, the courtyard is beautiful, the 'chinese room' is warm and comfortable but the rest of the decor is very overdone and tired. The staff are excellent and very helpful and friendly but at times it is hard to find anyone working there! The standard of food varies and breakfast was a bit disappointing.
Overall there is a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere in the hotel but I just feel it is lacking something to make you want to recommend it to anyone.
The rooms are not very comfortable, the beds are really hard, not really a place to relax and there are too many pictures and ornaments every where.

We stayed at the Palacio de San Benito for 5 days, it was a wonderful experience, the staff was absolutely marvelous, so was the hotel and the rooms. We would recommend it to everyone looking for an authentic experience of Andalucia at its best, perfect surroundings! The Palacio is a dream!

We had read that the El Palacio de San Benito was a good place but we were unprepared for both the very personal warmth of the welcome and the delightful room we were given. The service was very professional and attentive but unobtrusive and friendly. The hotel also has a very quirky charm which is hard to describe but makes a stay there a unique experience.

We ate several meals at the hotel and each one was a special experience. The lunch time tapas menu was particularly memorable and very good value. The breakfasts were also excellent with a wide choice.

The hotel is located in lovely countryside and makes an excellent base for walking and exploring.

This hotel is a wonderful find. We were visiting Southern Spain for Holy week, and spent our last two days in the hills of the National Park north of Seville- a beautiful area in Spring. We stayed in the "King's" room, and had dinner in the hotel on both nights. We had tea in the pretty Chinese drawing room when we arrived, which is full of collections of various sorts- had very attentive and friendly service at all times, particularly loved the dining room where the walls and ceiling were hand painted -gorgeous is the only word. Lovely food-fresh breakfast. Little bar with Mujedar ceiling and every sort of sherry. Felt very relaxed here. Delightful place.
