The hotel is very good located in a quiet place 3 min walk from the beach.
It is small, cosy, consists of 3 buildings surrounding a pool.
Each room has balcony/terrace with excellent view to Etna. The view is fantastic!
The room is spacious, basic but clean.
Breakfast was very simple - cheese, ham, bread, jam, tea, coffee, juice (not very good).
Restaurant at the hotel looks good but we only had lunch there once. The staff doesn't speak English well but usually we haven't problems in communication.
Due to hotel location (far from tourist sites) it is essential to have a car. It is 15 min drive to Giardini Naxos, 40 min to Taormina, 40 min to south Etna, 40 min to/from Catania airport.
There is a pebble beach near the hotel, it is big, not overcrowded. Sea is very good but temperature of the water in the second half of June was 16-18 degrees Celcius.
I would highly recommend this hotel for comfortable and quiet stay.
