We stayed here for 2 nights to take part at the wedding ceremony in the south of France. We drove to Cap de Castel from Barcelona. The trip to Cap de Castel was very nice through the beautiful countryside. The hotel is very well located on top of a hill, with a great view and with excellent swimming pool. We loved the rooms, decorated with great care and taste and the food, in particular the breakfast.

We recently stayed at Cap Castel and expectations were exceeded in every way. David Henry the owner is has capsulated the best factors of this property by providing luxury size rooms with quality furnishings and refined services in a historic setting. The hotel is wonderfully located on top of a hill with glorious views conveniently placed between the major attractions of the Midi-Pyreens.

The restaurant is as good as any Michelin star quality food and worthy of staying in the courtyard with ambience for dinner. A truly wonderful stay!

This is a really sweet, small hotel in an ancient, rather quiet hilltop town. The owner, David Henry, is charming and very helpful. He has taken great care with the restoration and decoration of an interesting old manorhouse and the result is attractive and most comfortable. Our room overlooked the Black Mountain and distant Pyrenees. Since the restaurant is closed on Sunday we ate nearby at a family-style restaurant recommended by David, we would have liked to stay longer and will definitely stay here again if we are in the region.

Stayed here for 1 night on part of motorcycle tour of France and Spain.
Food was fantastic which is just as well as location is quite remote. Would not hesitate to stay here again. Excellent swimming pool with nice views of countryside. I wish we stayed here longer.
