We came here by airoplane from Zanzibar landing on a rubber plantation air strip and taking the Landrover through a small village to the Lodge. A really welcoming trip and drinks on arrival too. The rooms are airy and large - well finished which was appreciated after staying at Kichanga a few days prior. The lounge was lovely with social areas as well as some hide away places. Food to die for - it really was very good. They made an effort to make high tea and cakes and a cocktail a day - although we were not sure about some of them!
Activities include trips out, guided tour of the village on the bay, visiting the turtle sanctury where they turtles were hatching during our stay. There is a laser for sailors and some sea kayacs as well as loungers and a swimming pool to the other side of the resort.
It was a brilliant place to end our honeymoon and we really enjoyed the style and excellent service the staff at Tides provided.
