Really accommodating staff, very attentive waitress/waiters, excellent dinner, reasonably priced. Newly refurbished room, spotless room, excellent bathroom (and great shower). Breakfast disappointing only because it didn't compare to the standard of dinner (which I will always remember), however, we were still too full to really appreciate it anyway, despite having a 3 mile jaunt down the beautiful yat before hand. We looked everywhere for the yat but he must have been hiding under the rock that day. Would definitely return in future.

Room was brilliantly furnished, great value, clean and tidy.
Bar excellent with friendly staff and good real ale!
Restuarant was also excellent. Waiting staff attentive, but not ott, and the food was supberb.
Finally, the location is lovely, and one of the staff will take you agross the hand-ferry for free if you are staying at the B&B (£1 if not).

Popped in here after a long weekend event nearby to celebrate how well it had all gone. Were treated to an excellent dinner in modern but rustic surroundings. The food really was great.

My husband and I have stayed at The Saracen's Head for many years now and look forward to each visit as eagerly as the first. The rooms have been modernized to enhance the visitors' stay and we have always find our room spotless, and comfortable.
We love room 10 which is an upgraded room within the main building and gives us lots of space and a super bathroom.
Would recommend staying here and enjoying the excellent service, super food and exploring a beautiful area.
