Just spent 1 enjoyable night in Hotel Londres (12th Sep 2011).
We booked two rooms, 4 adults through bookings.com.
The Hotel & rooms were clean and the 1 bed apts were a nice size & well equiped but take matches or a lighter for the cooker and there´s no kettle so you´ll need to boil water in a pan for tea/coffee.

The Hotel is well situated for the beach with the Med right by the hotel and the Mar Menor just across the Gran Via road. I would think that all the rooms have sea view.
Check in & out was straight forward and staff friendly.
There are a few bars resteraunts in walking distance but some were closed so we chose to drive to Cabo de Palos to eat.

The Bar Meson Sarromente in the square by the hotel is nice for a drink or snack €2 a pint 1€ half and you get a Tapa with every drink!! Friendly staff aswell, the Hotel is a bit more expensive and no beer on draft only bottle beer.

Having looked on the web for hotels near San Javier airport this one was listed as 7.5km away, please be warned this measurement is measured (by air) and this was not made very clear on the web site i booked it through. It turned out to be about 47km costing 55 euros.

There is no English in the area and very little to do, with no entertainment plus the restaurants are very expensive, you do need to hire a car unless you like walking (which luckily me and my Husband did)

Now the hotel on the other hand was lovely (despite the language problem) one particular man and lady on reception spoke a little English and was very helpful. we was on the 9th floor and the view of the Mar manor was absolutely gorgeous..

We just spent 4 nights and had a very pleasant stay. The public areas are spotless and appear to have been recently refurbished. We had a spacious 1 bedroom apartment on a full board basis. Sea view and a suuny balcony from 8am till 2pm. The buffet restaurant was more than adequate and wine with our meals cost 4 euros per bottle! All the other residents appeared to be young Spanish families. We would recommend this hotel for excellent value for money and we intend to go back.
