I stayed there for four nights with my boyfriend. The room was large ( the bathroom, too) with a view at an interior garden where we had our breakfasts. The room was clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was nice. Fresh bread, croissants, marmalades, honey, yogurt, milk, juices, coffee, sweets, fruits, eggs, cheese and ham were included. The staff was really welcoming and helpful. However, those who don't speak Spanish may find it difficult to communicate. Some members of the staff speak English but not fluently. Anyway, they all will be really willing to draw the directions on the map! The hotel is located in a nice and quiet neighborhood, three minutes from the center of Mahon. The port is approximately five minutes ( may be less) from San Miguel. We will definitely return!

This Italian run hotel is lovely, good location (although Mahon is so small everywhere is a good location!) Friendly staff. Clean, elegant rooms. A great place for a calm break, no amenities as such just a pleasant place to stay and good restaurant.

Booking.com states that there is a jacuzzi in every room - this is not true, the first room we were given was a lovely suite with a large shower cubicle, when we asked about the jacuzzi the manager did some rearranging and moved us into an even nicer room with a hydromassage bath.

Being December it was very quiet and calm in the hotel. We ate at the restaurant one night, excellent food - the menu was focused (a medieval Roman theme) and only had a few things on it but the chef came out to to tell us about the various options they had and asked if we had any special requests.

Situated in a quiet road on the edge of the central shopping district.

My room was large, imaginatively decorated - one wall is stone, lit by floor-set uplighters. Clean, though the one day I hung around Mahon it had not been made up when I came back at lunchtime. Television has 25 channels - all in Spanish or Catalan (apart from "learn English TV"). Room safe, but mine was still locked from the previous inhabitant. Lots of light fittings, but quite hard to get a good light to read by. Room overlooked an inner courtyard with seats (not in use). Effective heating (a real boon in February), though all controls other than on/off have been sealed off. Fridge for minibar.

Bathroom has modern fixtures: plugs in the basin and bidet work by pushing once to seal, again to release (did not seal). Jacuzzi-style bath. Good shower.

Breakfast was an adequate buffet: fruit, joghurt, lots of pastries, toast. Poor lighting.

No IT terminal available, but at each end of the street there is an internet shop.
