sa tanca is a basic self catering apartments with its own pool in cala llonga but is very clean with delightful staff who are very friendly and helpful,close to the beach which is really nice,cala llonga is a small very beautiful cove which is peaceful and very relaxing but has plenty for the kids to do,have been to sa tanca 3 out of the last 4 years,kids love,we love it and will continue to go most years,excellent price,1 tip is book direct with the apatments and find cheap flights:-)

we spent a week in sa tanca in july, clean apartments in an ideal location, very nice pool, supermarket next door and close to the beach if you fancy a dip in the sea, the receptionists are very helpful and will deal with your needs immediately, there are lots of bars and restaurants with la cantina (sols bar) deserving a special mention for the great atmosphere, a pint and good old fashioned british pub grub

I have just returned from a week at the sa tanca. what a fab week we had. the apartments are basic but clean. The kitchenette even had the added benefit of an oven. the block only has 35 apartments and the pool area is about the right size for the apartment block. Its actually quite nice as you tend to see the same faces and get talking to people. not like in these large complexs were you speak to someone one day then never see them again. Cant fault the apartments nor the bar staff in the up and inn (the pub/restaurant under the apartments). i stayed in these apartments 20 years ago and they are still run to the same high standard. The reception was very helpful as well nothing was too much trouble.

the resort of cala llonga has not changed much in the 20 years i dont think they have built it up any more. Its a lovely quiet resort - good for familes , if you want a quiet relaxing break then its ideal. The aparments are approx a minute walk to the shops and beach - the aparments really are in a good central location.

the buses are cheap and run to ibiza town which is approx 15mins drive by car so getting out of cala llonga is easy.

we had a private transfer(taxi) from the airport which took 15-20 mins

We have just returned from a 14 night stay, with our son aged 7. The apartments were in a good location, very near to cala llonga beach. Apartments were very clean, staff very friendly&helpful. Although pool was small, ample sinners ideal for young families. Beware of swimming pool water turns anything White a shade of yellow! Not sure why? Good choice of restaurants,particulary enjoyed SOS, Regina & terrace!! Supermarket near fountain well stocked, delicious bread&croissants!

Make sure you go to Ibiza town, absolutely stunning!! Well worth a walk around the dalt villa area.
