We were not a group as such, just 10 people booked into this hotel by a British travel agent. The girl on Reception did not speak any English. They had made a mess of the room allocation and could not seem to understand our insistence on having what we had booked. If I had not been able to speak a smattering of Italian I think we would have been arguing for hours. They have a concession with a taxi/shuttle bus firm run by a very aggressive, overbearing, rude man.
Unlike other reviewers we found the food very good and plentiful and the rooms quite comfortable. We just had constant trouble with Reception both on arrival and when we asked them to arrange transport for us.
