When you check in they give you the front door key and your room key and tell you that you will be independent to come and go. If you want being catered to this is not the hotel. The room is very clean, comfortable and basic, hot water, TV with only Italian language but you dont come here for TV. For me the independence was a plus, the price wonderful and the location is very near the pedastrian way to the Saint Pio Church, Shrine. The hotel staff (family) are very nice, come in morning to provide breakfeast, clean all rooms and then you do not see them again, you come and go at will. Again, if you come on pilgrimage for me this arrangement was ideal, the price was right as was the location, probably not a good fit the those who like catering and comfort in their hotel stays, also, if physically you cant walk to long, the pedastrain walkway is long and on the incline so you would do better with a more lux hotel much closer to the shrine, but again for me this was perfect, when you leave they even give you a gift of a mounted picture of Padre Pio, very nice;, very satisfied.

We stayed at Hotel Immagine for one night, intending to explore the Gargano Penninsula. The hotel is as advertised in its photos. It's very basic, but a good price. The room was clean, the air conditioning was typical for Italy - it worked, but it doesn't create a freezer, parking was free, and the internet (wifi) is also free. We were lost in the town, which has dozens of small hotels, and called the manager who met us where we were and led us to the hotel. Overall, it was a fine place to stay given that we spent hardly any time in the room. We did not try the breakfast.
