I stayed here with three children. The hotel itself is ok: nothing fancy, but clean, good breakfast, ok pool.
We had some problems with the air conditioning though. The first night the panel looked like it was working, but the room didn't get any cooler. The manager came to fix it and after that it worked for three days. Then suddenly it quit working again on the third day with the same problem as in the first day - we just couldn't get the snowflake (meaning it cools the air) show in the panel and the room was getting hotter and hotter. I went downstairs, where there was this old guy who didn't speak any english, but made clear that it's only my own fault and we must have a window open or something (we sure didn't and I definitely knew by that how to operate the machine). He told the manager would come in half an hour and i ques he did, because suddenly after half an hour we recognized in the room that the air conditioning was working again without anyone touching the panel. So, what I think is, that they have a central control for the air conditioning and they only put it on if you insist it, but to others they just tell that you are doing something wrong...
The bigger problem with the hotel is the location. It's on top of a hill a few kilometers from the city center and even more from the railway station. There is not much to see in the neighbourhood, but a few restaurants and Lidl. They theoretically offer transportation to railway station and Gardaland, but you have to fix it with them, so it's not really a shuttle bus. Having no Italian phone connection and most of the staff not speaking English it's impossible to ask them to pick you up when you arrive. Anyhow they dropped us to the Gardaland on the morning and also to railway station the morning we left.
