We've stayed one week in the Silvestre, which is the ideal holiday place for a couple who likes to enjoy the best things in life. It's not too small and neither too big, tastefull decorated and next to the pool ;-) Outside you have your own table to have breakfast, lunch, .. and even a fixed hook in the wall (ideal for people with a pet). After taking 'some' steps you're in the city-center and by car you can easy visit a lot of historical cities, thermae centers, vineyards, ...
Lisa gave us immediately the feeling of being very welcome, gave great advise/help & booked arrangements to visit some nice vineyards, (Talenti was realy TOP).
We've visited already many 5* hotels all over the world & also serveral B&B's but the service we've got here, we've never experienced before. You can see that Lisa & here husband Andrea do this with passion. Normally we never go back to the same place, but we think Suite D'Artista will be again on or agenda again.

Wir verbrachten zwei wundervolle Wochen in der "Suite d'Artista" in Montalcino. Die Wohnungen sind liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und der Garten ist wunderschön. Ein "Einod" nur wenige Gehminuten vom Dorfkern entfernt, mit eigenem Parkplatz und Swimmingpool. Lisa und Andrea sind ganz tolle Menschen und Gastgeber. Ein wirklich empfehlenswerter Ort im Herzen der Toskana.

This is the most amazing retreat in the middle of Montalcino. Besides offering a large spacious flat (we had 2x bedrooms, large bathroom, TV / coffee room) they offer a large shaded garden with pool and jacuzzi. The kids loved the fruit garden too. But what gives the place a full 5 stars is the host Lisa. She gave us great tips, made bookings and arranged for wine tours - the best we have ever had on trips to Montalcino. If you enjoy privacy and space, this place is unrivalled. Will definitely go back.

We stayed at Cannavacciuolo for a week and had a fantastic time. The owners were incredibly helpful offering suggestions on places to eat and visit, even offering to book vineyard tours and make restaurant reservations if we needed.

The apartment was very clean and well appointed with a comfortable bed with a fridge and nespresso machine in another room - the only addition we suggested was a kitchen sink to wash up the cups. The on site parking was also great as the town itself is a tight squeeze to drive through (usually at a 45 degree angle for some of the hills!) and parking isn't in a plentiful supply elsewhere. The garden was terrific, as was the pool - only small but good to cooling off - and jacuzzi. All well maintained and peaceful.

Montalcino was lovely - great food and drink and the steps up to the main street made for a good workout. The town is also a great base from which you can easily drive to Siena, Montepulciano, Pienza and others.
