The Spirit of the Knights is in a class of its own. I have only the utmost praise for their attention to detail and the professional (yet friendly) service. I wish them all the best for the years ahead and can't wait to return.

I didn't want to leave, after a 4 night stay. My mother and I had a lovely relaxing time at Spirit of the Knights, as we had the whole place to ourselves for a couple of days. Alex and his family made us feel very welcome and the service, was excellent and always friendly. We were upgraded before we even arrived to the Grand Master's Suite which was very lovely. The salon/library area was a great place to spend time in, especially on the one rainy afternoon we had.
The hotel itself has been beautifully restored, ask Alex for a look at the photos of what the building used to look like! You'll be amazed.
Being there in early December when much of old Rhodes was closed, it was no trouble at all to order in food for dinner and have it delivered to the hotel. Breakfast was cooked to order and very yummy.
I highly recommend this beautiful, unique hotel and hope to return again as soon as possible.
I consider my self extremely fortunate to have come accross the Spirit of the Knights. I travel extensively and love history and rate this lovely hotel right at the top. The job that has been done by the owners in restoring this location should be commended. The room that I had was perfect for me. This is a small facility, which I love, and yet the public spaces, both inside and out are first rate. Fantastic library / lounge area and garden / terrace with water features. Breakfast was absolutely marvelous as were, the converstions I had with Alex and Duncan (most enjoyable and informative) all adding to a relaxing and enjoyable experience. I strongly recommend that you take up the invitation of having someone from the hotel meet your taxi in the square so they can help you with your luggage and, more importantly, to find the hotel. The little alley ways, although extremely interesting and charming, are also very, very confusing.
Overall a fantastic experience.

Our expectations were high due to the fantastic reviews - our expectations were exceeded! Because the hotel was so busy we ended up staying in 4 of the 6 suites but the move from suite to suite was seamless and actually exciting as each suite is very different and we looked forward to wondering what each suite was going to be like. Each suite was truly unique and can certainly recommend the Rodos, Crusaders and Pasha suites. The Knights Chamber is the smallest room but even so is far more interesting and comfortable than most hotel rooms. The beds are to die for - if you are worried about getting a good night's sleep this is the place for you - I slept for 13.5 hours the first night! The hotel is spotlessly clean and the breakfast is amazing. The design of the hotel is wonderful with highlights being 6 truly unique suites, a stunning library area and a small but tranquil and very cleverly designed garden. Most important of all is the high level of customer service - the hotel is 100% family managed and run and the family really care - as well being very good company and fun to be around. Finally the location is perfect if you want quiet, yet you can be in the main part of the Old Town in 2 minutes. We shall return!
We stayed here for 3 nights with our two young children. The service extremely friendly and helpful. The accommodations were awesome, elegant and very hip. The location was ideal, close to the excitement but once you enter the premise it was tranquil and relaxing.
I highly recommend this chic, unique hotel.
