It is a mix of YMCA and Nature houses with a staff who do everything to make your stay nice. But you can see that there is no money to moderniss the rooms and the breakfast room is to become very sad early in the morning.Diner location is beautiful with the pound with fishes. Chef's food can be much better but you can also have dinner in the neigbourhood villages.Swimming pool outside and swimming at hte river is nice.Is it a beautiful spot where every evening a fox pass theoutside teracce to spot some food at the tables.

We found this hotel suited us very well. The staff were really good and friendly. The food was excellent both breakfast and evening meal. We stayed in a pavilion room which was satisfactory, but certainly not luxurious. It was quite close to a slightly noisy river, but had the advantage of a riverside beach to complement the excellent and very clean swimming pool. The location of this hotel is as good as you can get for exploring the mountainous central area of the island with easy access to to the N193 and with Monte only about 20 minutes away. We have just enjoyed a really good week and would recommend it to the rural minded who enjoy walking in the countryside.

The hotel could be beautiful, also in consideration of the surroundings, but it’s run without any care. For example in the rooms downstairs there was a strong smell of mold, the pool was out of order (and still full of water) from I don’t know how much time: it was full of algae, you couldn’t see the bottom! Be careful with the reservation! We had the copy of the email with the agreed price but at the time of paying the bill, they charged us more because they gave us a room with garden (and mold breeze…) that we didn’t ask for! Finally they send a bottle of expensive wine to the wrong table (ours!) and, of course we had to pay for it! At least the wine was good.
I would not recommend this hotel, for the same price I’ve been to really better ones!

Marvelllous surrounding of mountains. Very stylefully resurrected in river stone. Calm, not crowded and relaxed atmosphere. Nice river closeby for swimming and fishing or just enjoying tranqility with the sound of water. Very sympathetic and helpful staff. Good restaurant. Corte relatively closeby for shopping etc. We chose the appartment with own cooking facility; needs some refurbishing and freshing up, but is planned as hotel has been done. We were with four with two small children, which was OK, not luxurious and not too much space left. For bigger children or groups one cottage may be too small. Price reasonable to our standards. Cleanness may be improved but not problematic to our opinion.
In all we would recommend this location for the beautiful setting and nice atmosphere.
